I removed the font folder of xp once and the system still ran... it used the standard console font everywhere... That was super weird to see windows doing that.
I'm feeling nuclear right now..

Speculation much?

Until someone gets a verbose read of the log files, blaming the fonts is equal or less to than downloading a trojan and thinking it's porn and giving it your root password to install a "special viewer" because you weren't wearing any pants at the time (i.e. "firefox started crashing a lot") or a corrupt hard drive with some bad sectors that needs to be zero written, or dozens of other reasons that may or may not be font related.
I'm feeling belligerent right now..

It is locked down. You can't delete system fonts without entering the admin password.

ever try doing: rm -rf / ? yeah, they should lock that shit down eh?
I'm feeling pompous right now..

BLASPHEMY ! What are you talking about, it's a Mac, Macs don't crash, they are indestructible !

They have the most stable OS on the planet ! They NEVER get viruses ! Are you sure you aren't running an OS X emulator on a PC ? Come on now, I'm sure YOU screwed it up somewhere. Pfffffff, OS X doesn't log you in, yeah riiiiiiight.

(take that, Mac fanboys *flips the bird*)

1997 called, they want their clichés back. Including this phrase about 1997 calling.

All the OS X users I know are programers and fans of Unix.

well, 2008 called 1984 and 1984 told 2008 we can get the fluo back, so 1997 doesnt have to be jealous, 2008 calls WAY before 1997!
