I've had cops at my place at least once a month since I was about 5 but it was always just for my parents so I never really had anything against them, they were always super nice with me.
Then a couple of years ago they started coming over for fights between me and my mom and took her side once after we had a pretty violent "argument"; everytime they've been here since then, I've completely refused to talk or even look at them and I become the most sarcastic bitch in the world.
I'm feeling moist right now..

And that's why you're gonna get maced. =)

I can agree with you guys. My dad was dragged out his own house after his psycho bitch girlfriend threw herself down the stairs, and called the police saying it was him! (The bitch was fucking drunk and screaming, isn't obvious she harmed herself!) The same thing happened to my brother when his neighbours heard him and his girlfriend arguing through the walls. Once the cops go there, they just arrested him despite the fact that she said everything was OK.

My point of view with the cops is that Respect is a two way street. If I'm reasonable with them, they'll be reasonable with me. I've only yelled at a cop once, and the guy understood why. I mean, he even let me go on a promise to appear in court. I know it's not always like that, but I mean, if you're getting shit with the cops, don't be surprised if your gonna a couple bruises or red rings around your wrists when you're done with them.
I'm feeling cool right now..

Totally.. I have zero problems with them usually if I don't see them at my parents'. Otherwise, I guess a defence mechanism kicks in..

when I got red ring around my wrist it wasn't because the cops was mad at me or anything, I always act respectful with them, the thing is the guy was a rookie and I was his first arrest!!!

Yup, but you are kinda right, having gun isn't a good idea, since not a lot of people are carrying guns anyway!

I enjoy watching my tax dollars being spent on fixing cop cars that have been damaged by hooligans.

As for the UK police being better, that's because they get the help of Big Brother. They have 24 hour video surveillance practicaly everywhere over there.

saffer then with a 40 years old fat and perverted dude with a bug mustache :P (I'm only kidding here)

Seriously, the only time a cop really scared me, he ask me to come up with me in his car to go look around the bar one of my friend was working at. A crackhead had attack her and I saw it so he ask me to go with him to reconise him.

Keep in mind this was on the night of my 19 b-day so I was a little naive and said yes.

It's 4 in the morning, I'm high and drunk as shit (it's my b-day) and the cop start rubbing my leg in the car asking me if I had a boyfriend... I tought for sure I was going to get raped by a cop :S and that nobody would believe me.
Luckly, I said yes, the dude at the bar with us is my boyfriend, and he took me back to the bar, telling my friend we did not find the crackhead.

Other then that, they have always been ok with me...

I guess there is ass-hole everywhere... But not all cops are bad!

the cop should not have touched your leg,and chances are he wanted to fuck you, they pick up punks and prostitutes when they are bored or horny .or regular nice girls like yourself depending how brave they feel, which is pretty damn brave considering they can carry guns in public.

the thing is, I don't want to believe they are all bad... and since on one other occasion I was "save" by cops... I think some are good some are bad.

But they are just human like you and me... they just chose a different job.

good point!

"the thing is, I don't want to believe they are all bad... and since on one other occasion I was "save" by cops... I think some are good some are bad."

they deal with us as if we were ALL BAD...I have a friend that is a cop (sorta friend) that said it's all part of their system. Expect the worst when going to a scene or a call. So I expect the worst from them. It's mutual disrespect and until (as REGIMENTAL says) they drop the guns and tasers I can't respect them.

I was at a house party once in town that was raided by the fuzz...and they came right in side without permission and booted everyone onto the street. when I got out side a super amped up lady copper told me to get in my friend's car and go home. when I said I couldn't get into the car she arrested me (well...hadcuffed me) put in the back of a cruiser. when I asked what I was under arrest for....she said I can't tell you till we get to the station. they drove off and dropped me off at metro atwater and told me to get on the metro and go home. If you're thinking man you must have been doing something...nope I was just the DJ and 4 or 5 others had the same thing happen on the same night. felt fucked up to be in canada and that shit goes on. oh not a single joint was blazin that night either...just loud tunes.

cops can be good, but fundamentally they're bad.
I'm feeling 93-97 right now..
