Anything involving customer service is bullshit as far as I'm concerned, I am never gonan work a job where I have to serve people. Plus, like Keith said, it's hilarious to hear all the ridiculous stories people have when they're asking for help. Sofia, there's A LOT more than just construction work as an alternative to desk jobs. The most wack ass job I can think of is any projects involving art. Working on Sets, sitting infront of my computer (behind a desk... Or maybe in park with my laptop?), meeting new people, brainstorming, traveling, etc. That, my friend, is where it's at. |

| Coolness: 92245 | working on a movie set is not construction but it still falls into the category of assembly and is still done in an office like environment. Hands on work. Anyway you know what I meant so what the hell, obviously I know theres other stuff but most things require that you sit at a computer. There are a lot of people in my office who have non-desk jobs (ex: camera man, director, producer, switcher, presentateur) but every single one of those people still have to spend half of their work days at a desk. I dunno where people get the impression that every desk job is some kind of secretary crap. |
