Some people do what they enjoy, and it doesn't matter if it's in an office or somewhere else

ha how is it an assumption?

btw, are your second and third jobs

1 - an alley

2 - in front of a webcam?

be honest - do you have the office job for the sole purpose of having something to tell your parents?

unless you wanna be a construction worker office jobs are where it's at. God knows what kind of wack ass jobs ur thinking up. Anything involving customer service is bullshit as far as I'm concerned, I am never gonan work a job where I have to serve people. Or any job where I can't go on the computer and can't dig my face into food whenever I want and have to think of what to wear and say.

Customer service isn't so bad.. basically you just get a million stories about how stupid people are... and as long as you don't worry about it they all just become really funny... as long as you can wear what you want and they're not too strict, any job can be pretty ok...

The service industry, in my oppinion, is great.I love helping people, no matter what it is... it can (sometimes) feel very rewarding.
Plus, like Keith said, it's hilarious to hear all the ridiculous stories people have when they're asking for help.

Sofia, there's A LOT more than just construction work as an alternative to desk jobs. The most wack ass job I can think of is any projects involving art. Working on Sets, sitting infront of my computer (behind a desk... Or maybe in park with my laptop?), meeting new people, brainstorming, traveling, etc.

That, my friend, is where it's at.

working on a movie set is not construction but it still falls into the category of assembly and is still done in an office like environment. Hands on work. Anyway you know what I meant so what the hell, obviously I know theres other stuff but most things require that you sit at a computer. There are a lot of people in my office who have non-desk jobs (ex: camera man, director, producer, switcher, presentateur) but every single one of those people still have to spend half of their work days at a desk. I dunno where people get the impression that every desk job is some kind of secretary crap.

I'm making fun of idiots for mistaking people's opinions for facts.

You don't have to fucking agree with eachother. This is why you're ALLOWED to hate people with dumb ideas of how the world works.
