Just think of what the conservatives think of raves......

Good thing it's only a minority governement. Not much is gonna happen, and the rest of the elected seats better go for a vote of non-confidence soon enough. The NDP needs to step it up a few notches, maybe a new leader? Better, more focused campaining? Cuz we have to get ourselves out of this rut! Canada's just reached a new low. Of all my values I consider to be Canadian values, the conservatives stand for the exact opposite.

This could also mean the end of unified Canada! Next provicial elections do you really think that Idiot Jean Charest is gonna be re-elected? So the PQ's in eh?.... With that combination of the Federal Conservatives and the PQ, that equals serious chances of seperation in my books!!!

with a population stupid enough to elect the conservatives, do you really think that's a bad thing??? I mean, do you really want to be a part of this canadian family after seeing how ignorant people can be???

People aren't stupid for having voted for the conservatives. the liberls needed to be booted out to teach them a lesson, they've been in power for too long and that always leads to corruption.

also, saying this will lead to seperation is stupid, take a look, the Bloc LOST seats this election.. meaning they're less popular than last election.

also, why would we want a non confidence vote?? NO ONE WANTS YET ANOTHER ELECTION. jesus, we don't need elections every few months, these things cost millions of dollars!

Seb, I think its because they figure conservatives dont give a shit if quebec separates and will support it. Besides, nationalists are kinda always right wing...

I don't see how booting out the liberals justifies voting for conservatives. They could have just as easily voted for NDP or someone else.. and maybe they figured conservatives would have a better chance, but we're better off sticking with the liberals than voting conservative. Maybe the liberals suck with money but at least they have some values. I'd rather live in a country with values than a country with lots of money. So if they're not stupid for voting conservative than I guess they're just.. something else that I don't like. I guess it was a good idea to vote Bush since it got rid of dirty old Clinton, huh?

Uhh, two things:

1) How does stealing hundreds of millions from the government show their moral values?

2)Clinton got 2 terms in, that's the maximum any president of the US is allowed to have.

yeah. wtv..
the conservatives are the minority government.. it means nothing.. to pass any bill so rlaws they need the consent of the bloc or liberals...
they cant just pass laws... or remove any
i think the liberals needed a shakeup.. and if the conservatives were it.. then so be it...
plus theyre not all bad........ ok so they are

1) I'm sure the Liberals are the only political party to steal millions from the governement. The way I see it, they were the only one who GOT CAUGHT. I still can't figure out why we are one of the richest country on this planet, yet we have virtually no money to spend on healthcare. Call it theft or horrendous monetary management, they are still wasting shitloads of money.

2) Unfortunately, at least he looked and sounded somewhat smarter than Dubya. Fortunately, Dubya's on his second term. Thank God.

At least the green party got some votes. Leurs votes ont augmenté y parait. Good.
Conservatives... Bleh. No like.

Non?

Uhm, you should probably look up what it means to be a "Conservative".. the whole idea is that they spend less, tax less and save money.

Liberals and Socialist do the opposite simply by principle alone.

I'm not saying that it's a good thing that they're going to spend less, but they're certainly not going to raise the deficit..

So its not like the Torries can really get anything accomplished anyways
No seats for Green though... :( but a good turnout of voters (70%)... and one independent MP from Portneuf-Jacques-Cartier wierd...

Sorry man, people are more than stupid for voting conservatives (sorry if anyone's offended).. Our main goal as a society is to MOVE FORWARD and the reason why we are happy in canada is because its a FREE country.. the Conservatives want to take away our freedom.. how you as??? well, they want to pass laws RESTRICTING personal choice.. like what you as?? well, like GAY MARRIAGES, like ABORTION, like drug consumption.. these are all our rights as humains and they want to remove them from us.. leaving us, well, not so free as we use to be.. PLUS, they favour the rich (which is far from being the majority here) AND they encourage the war and probably suport anything bush will ask of them regardless of how rediculus it might be.

and even if BLOC lost seats as you say, it just mean's people either wanted the liberals out badly that they put there values aside or that they knew the conservatives were so strong that it was pointless to vote anything else..

ANYWAYS, its a free country right?

It's kinda sad that the conservatives got twice as many votes as the NDP, but ended up with like 5 times the seats.....
