| What is a "Hip-Hop" Attitude? |
|
Coolness: 144885
| Well, here's the official reply, wich is better than any explanation I can come out with.

| This is honestly the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard.
You know, I heard Al Capone wore a suite. |
|
Coolness: 144885
| I never said I agree with any of this ;) |

| Yeah,
It's just I really get pissed off when I read comments or hear people talk about Hip-Hop or Rap music as if it's a recipie for murder.
Yeah, there's a stigma behind the whole culture because of the murders of Tupac and Biggie, the lyrics of NWA, and the rage that came from Public Enemy. But these people were just expressing their lives in a manner that suited them (and made them popular). The violence was before rap, and would have still existed with or without the music.
But that is really such a small piece of hip-hop, and when you actually listen to other hip-artists other than those who glorify violence, like Nas, Warren G, RUN D.M.C., KRS-1, Mary J Blidge and so many more, it really depicts the total opposite. |

| I blame 50 cent. |
|
Coolness: 144885
| I totally agree with you, Mico. Even though I'm not a big fan of the commercial shit, I find some hip hop to be pretty damn good, and I think that blaming it for violence is as retarded as saying that the beatles are "satan's music". |

| tiesto's music is satan |

| They should turn the hiphop room into a DnB room. |
|
Coolness: 144885
| Forced to listen to tiesto's music for the rest of eternity, yep, that's hell alright. |
|

| i one day hope to create a trainwreck powerful enough to be the worlds #1 dj |
|
Coolness: 144885
| You should play a breakdown long enough to last the entire set, that would do the job. |
|
Coolness: 685580
| That'd be a cool thing for a turntablist to do... Do a whole set of nothing but buildups or breakdowns. |
|
Coolness: 144885
| Yeah, that could be nice. |
|
Coolness: 685580
| I dunno, a set of all buildups or breakdowns would be like the musical equivalent to blue-balls. |
|
Coolness: 144885
| This would be the kind of set that only a dj could enjoy. I can just picture peeps trying to dance to it :lol |
