DaJoker525. Bro the event is utter shit. A bunch of sweaty pill poppin saloppe's .With the exception of maybe a couple of misguided party go'er's.The event is shit because of the people booked to entertain, the people that show up,the security, the whole BIG MONEY aspect being the WHOLE motivation behind the jam.The party is FAKE fun,Look in the eye's of these people and tell me there REALLY REALLY having the time of there lives ,or are they fakin it because the guy or girl next to them appear's to be having fun, and they are too weak to make up there own mind as to what fun is.So they look for the biggest flyer, with the "BIGGEST " shitty dj's ,with the biggest bullshit hype behing it and attend it,for the simple reason that there life has no purpose ,and this is there last ditch effort to find some belonging.

Agreed.... long, long time ago

I also agree with regimental911, most (not all) of these mega-event seem fake to me. most of these people go to one or two raves a year and it's either the bal en blanc or the black and blue. they usualy don't care who's playing of if it's house or trance or techno.... they just go to the bal en blanc .... simple as that...

white hides cum stains...

but usualy large event tend to lose the essence and are more about making money and peoples that are there only to do drug... instead of being about the music

Man I think that is ALL parties, underground probably has just as many people on drugs as commercial, if not more...

Haha, yo regimental, i didn't take any of that in offence, haha, i agree with some of what your saying as well, what i meant before was: how can you talk shit about an event that you didnt attend. this isnt for you but the other people who are hating on BeB because of the fact that its a hyped up party with big flyers and loads of money spent on it and stuff.

The theme of the party is to wear white but I personally hate when people tell me what to do so I came in black instead, and so did a couple of my other friends. But you still see those raves that have themes, like wear camo gear or, candy clothes, or body condoms...and the list goes on, all in fun...and drug abuse... haha, I didn't go there for the line-up however, i couldnt care less about what a tiesto is or why a benny ben-assies, just went met some wikkid people, some cracked out and others...still cracked out. im hoping i make it to next years...never wandering into the middle of the dance floor thats for sure! :S

i went this year. i had no idea that i was going until i was given passes to go. i never went before, and never attended to pay the price to go in.

but i have to agree that just seeing all the people from behind the booth was awsome. ive never seen that many people at an indor party before. bitch this party all you want, about everyone being there for just the drugs.... but if you think about it.... at every single party, underground or whatnot, there are people on drugs.

i had no idea who was playing there that night, but as the opertunity came up, i decided i had to check it out.

i really enjoyed myself at this party, there was no negative comment going around about the line ups for the washrooms or whatever, there was no JADED RAVERS telling other people what was kool or what wasent.

the way i see it, where else can you go to see so many people from montreal in one place for the same reason, to have fun and relax on the holidays

bitch all you want, but how do you know that they were only there for the drugs and not the music. im going to aria at the end of the month to go see GMS!!!!!!!!! (growling mad scientists, for people who dont know) , does that make me someone thats going to an afterhors just to drugs??????

anyways, thats enough from me, but my final point is that dont judge something unless you try it. i never thought i would enjoy myselef there, but the vide was crazy, there was no way that nobody had a bad time.

later ( my wo cents)

Miller

who really cares if the people only go to 1 rave a year or so,u dont know what goes on on peoples lives, whether the have kids and CAN ONLY party once or twice a year, let people have fun and do their own thing, and about the only wearing white, i personally would wear whatever i'd want, its not the Rule, making $$$$ is what they care about.

They go for the crowd, for the event. Not the music.

That's the difference, and it tells it all.

Even though some people do enjoy Tiesto...

None of you people have any idea what people go for unless you specifically ask them. I am constantly amazed at how much assumption goes on in here. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, everyone does what they do for reasons of their own. People like people.

Personally I think of chess when it comes down to reasoning.. One should always have at least three purposes/reasons for moving a piece in chess.

1. To cover one of my own pieces
2. To open up one of my pieces for a future move
3. To place an offensive piece in danger

These are very general reasons, but none the less, if you cannot find three reasons to move a piece it should not be moved.

Everone has whatever reasons they have for doing whatever they do, and by labelling people into steriotypical roles such as those stated in this thread just makes about as much sense as Futurama.

So you, whoever you are, don't like this event, don't like the people, don't like the drugs, don't like the music, don't like yourself?

I have my tastes, I like what I like and hate what I hate, but I am always open minded and will never prejudicially stereotype people I have never met and parties I have never attended because that just fits me into one of thosee stereotypical asshole roles.. Which I'd rather not do.

The event sounded great, I was elsewhere that night at Rewire which rocked. But had I the hance to wade thru the masses at this fine attempt at an event.. I would be there in a second.

i went last year and i had an awesome time. The vibe was crazy and i agree with you miller, seeing 10 000 people dancing from behind the booth is totally crazy. i went cuz i had vip passes and i dont really like trance and big events at all, and seeing laval bitches and sweat muscles guys is not what i prefer, but seriously its a good experience and im glad i went once in my life.

Stereotypes exist for a reason.

And i'm not saying you should stick to them. I'm saying, there is a sense of truth in it, altough it's obviously far from getting the whole straight picture.

What is great is relative.

Oh and some of my friends are real assholes, some are egocentric, some are rude, some are actually violent, but they're still my friends. The fact that I think they are wasting their money going to this event, because they do not know any better event and their knowledge of the "scene" MIGHT be limited since this is the type of rave that could attract people who rarely dances/raves, does not mean that I cannot consider these people as good people, and I wouldn't reject them as individuals.

I'm just saying, Bal en Blanc is pricey and snob compared to other raves. I guess I could have fun there. But there again, having fun is just a state of mind, and 80$ bucks is a lot for no reason, from my point of view.

And if you're snob, then go have fun I guess. It's wrong to be snob, but it doesnt' mean that I'll refuse conversation with a person that I consider as snob.

Snob, because if I got there with old clothing...you get what I mean ?

HUH ?
