I use my laptop for both studio work and live gigs:
Laptop: Toshiba Pentium Centrino 1.7GHZ 2 Lacie 250 GB External Hard Drives M-Audio Audiophile Mackie 1202 Mixer Event TR 8XL Monitors Clavia Nord Modular Reason 3 Acid Pro 6 Ableton 5 Cool Edit Pro Pro Tools M-Powered Traktor Studio 3 Discovery DSP Albino 2 2 Numark TT100's 2 Gemini CDJ-1100's Gemini PS-1000 Pro Mixer + Echo Gina 24/96 - but it is on my old desktop, that I don't use anymore for production. I am planning to upgrade my PC tower someday soon to be able to use this card again. |

How's your Alesis AirFX?
I had the alesis air synth, and it was pretty cool at first, then it got pretty useless. I didn't like it cuz I couldn't edit any parameters really. But I figured it would probably be better for controlling effects and such.
I'm feeling fuck i gotta work :( right now.. |

Hey, I've got a question to whomever is kind to reply. Do I absolutely need an interface if I were to plug in a microKorg to a mac using reason 3.0?
Thanx! |

you'd need something other than Reason unless you plan on using the microkorg as just a midi controller. If you want to use it's sounds, you need something that records, and afaik, reason doesn't.

What kind of synth is that? Update » volo wrote on Thu Dec 28, 2006 @ 9:32pm The airfx is fun, it's really a toy. A very good toy though. I kind of enjoy it as something simple to use and it's great for any time when you're making music with others...It definately needs a FX volume or wet/dry though, sometimes the effects are rather drastic. I just like how everyone goes "hey, whats that!" and whats to try it out.

Dyn-Audio Monitors rules!
Volo: It's a CME UF5 Midi controller, semi-weighted keys, not really any dry/wet or any effects for that matter, great keyboard though. |
