 Coolness: 340 | Well for starters, I was harrassed hardcore today.
Dressed like my usual colorful self a bunch of hardcore GINOS screamed out, from their HONDA CIVIC , "FUCKING RAVER DRUGGIE BITCH!" I screamed back, "I love you too!" and they had a very funny reaction, that Im never going to forget. Its ppl like that who mostly populate the west island. I been living here most of my life, but I am sick of it! It should be stopped. I think Im going to have a hardcore goa party in the forest near my house when it gets warm and lets see what they will think then:) |

| Coolness: 201220 | raver's aren't different, maybe they are still not a common site in the suburbs (deffinately rare when I was in high school, I was the only kid with phat pants), but in the city I see it alot.
It's about as different as a guy with a mohawk, it's being different (the same way as everyone else) But for me it was a phase, I agree the pants and stuff are cool, I know mine were, and very comfortable. I never went crazy with the beads or anything though. I find all the ravers dress the same way, and it's too bad. |

i mean i walk around with a pair of swears on and they look at me as if i was from another planet, but if you walk around downtown people see it as completely normal. People here just dont like diversity, i mean whenever someone comes whos not from around here, everyone knows your not from around here and thats why i think it sucks |

The west island is like any other suburb, built on the basis of conformity. Ravers are diverse, like any other culture, because they are divided. Rap is divided Metal is divided Rave is divided It's all the same shit. Someone wants to do something along the lines of their favorite genre, but they want to do something different, so a subsection of that culture forms around it, then that subsection hates the other. Take ravers, you have the "commercial" and the "underground". And then commercial and underground are fragmented. Goaheads aren't respected by anyone but goaheads candykids aren't respected by anyone but candykids junglists aren't respected by anyone but junglists. ect ect ect... Metal too You have people who say Nu-metal is shit, slayer forever. You have people who say nu-metal and slayer is shit, Dimmu Borgir forever, and you have people who say Dimmu and slayer are shit, Slipknot forever. It's all the same shit. And if you surround yourself with a particular culture, then other cultures will seem different and odd and strange. But since everyone is superficial and assumes that if someone has bracelets up to their elbows, they are e-tarded. And everyone assumes that if you dress like a gino, that you are closed minded and have no clue about the outside world. |

However, when I get yelled at or looked at funny I return it with a smile or a nice gesture to make those ppl feel stupid. Because I am a nice person and shouldnt be judged because of the way I look. Those rich little BMW ppl are pricks to me because why? I dress wierd orrr I dunno;/... SO I cant help but judge them? Am I making sense? I dunno...but I just try to be nice to these pricks even if I am a druggie raver bitch;) |

What exactly's the underground scene and the commercial scene ? Yesterday , I was in the bus (Yeah , I swear) And there was 2 girls in front o' me talking about raves . Well , for them , a commercial rave was something like Le Bal en Blanc , that , I agree . But then one asked the other : Have you ever been to an underground rave ? The other answered : Yes , I went to a rave at the 'Métropolis' ... Weird uh ? For me , A rave that takes place at the Métropolis can't be underground since that's a commercial place . So , how can we clearly separate underground from commercial if it all depends of the person who judges that ? Ohohoh , my brain's burning , that's a philosophic thing now ! As for the part about candy kidz , goaliens etc ... well , *lol* I guess we're all the same shit anyway ... :) Mhahahaha , SubFlower's right ! Mind you, I never start fights... My philosophy is, everyone deserves a shot of being nice to, so regardless of how a person dresses/talks/walks or whatever, I will be nice to everyone *UNTIL* they turn out to be assholes/bitches. Then I turn into one as well, often worse than them. Action-reaction principle in this way is fair, I think :P |

They are assholes, how do you get them back in such a way that will actually work. Be nice to them, then their whole attempt at bothering you was completed wasted. |
