 Coolness: 238615 | All I have to say is the Waste Island was hell living there since it is so hard to get downtown at times. Try going from Fairview to Lachine( faster going downtown). People who live the suburbs are closed minded to things. Now the reason is almost everything is the same out there. If you look at downtown...things change from one spot to another. We expect to see different things when there, while out in the suburbs we don't. Hell I get weird looks when people see the two bracelets I have on my wrist. I am the only bike courier that I know of that does wear them. Another way of looking at things is you are getting a reaction from people(sometimes not the best one). Most people don't get reactions...is that good or bad??

getting to lachine from fairview is pretty easy 202/203/204 to dorval, 195 into lachine. But I wouldn't be bitching about travel times if I lived along the 211 bus route. I live in pierrefonds Two night busses to get home (371/382). A plethora of ways getting downtown: 68 -> 64 -> Cote Vertu Metro 68 -> 69 -> Henri Bourrasa Metro 208 -> 215 -> Cote Vertu Metro 209 -> 211 -> Lionel Groulx Metro (rush hour) 213 -> Cote Vertu Metro (rush hour) 205/206/208 -> 201/202/203/204/217 -> 211 -> Lionel Groulx Metro 205/206/208 -> 216 -> Cote Vertu Metro (rush hour) Train -> Place Ville Marie -> Boneventure or McGill Metro (fastest way) Taxi -> where ever I damn well please (most expensive way, but not as fast as train). Yeah, I think that sums it up. |

i mean how do you think i feel, im a night person, and there is no night bus that goes near my house. im also knows as the weirdest chicks in all the west island, but that doesnt bother me. and for whoever said we should dress in a way not to provoke people here...im sorry but i dont wanna dress like them, it would be really unhealthy, all the chicks here wear super tight clothes, i think i like being different, and you know what i like it when they stare and yell at me too... |

When I had orange hair, which isn't exactly the most crazy thing, people in the south shore (even 35 year olds) yelled shit from their cars, but other times people said it looked really nice, even a little old lady! |

Old ppl always compliment me on my clothing *lol* But hey , I often find that they have cool clothe pieces too ! Tho , I kinda like when ppl yell at me , at least they noticed my existence amongst other ppl ! And too , I do the same , tho I don't yell at 'em , I often criticize their look ... and a good look is a look you can criticize , otherway it's a boring look ... hmmm ...
