The high Window - Raymond Chandler



j'ai aimé, comme j'avais déjà dit Raymond Chandler est un délice à lire dans le style détective et après avoir pris un petit break de ces livres, je l'ai savourer du début à la fin

un petit extrait que j'ai aimé:

"Quite, probably," I said without meaning, and tried to blow a smoke ring, but didn't make it. A nerve in my cheek was trying to twang like a wire. I didn't like it.

Mr. Vannier has been living there three years now. Before that he lived up in the Hollywood hills, on Diamond Street. Another man lived with him there, but they didn't get along very well, Mr. Vannier said."

typiquement masculin. Une femme est en train d'y raconter de quoi et lui, il ne pense qu'à faire des anneaux avec la boucane de sa cigarette haha j'adore ça. Aussi, rempli d'attitude, typiquement détective. Le fait qu'il soit aussi "indépendant"/"careless" lui donne un charme fou (criss que la vie c'est bizarre)

le livre est bourré de plein de petits détails comme ça, raconter par Philippe Marlowe, et c'est exactement pour ça que c'est parfait!

j'ai commencer ce matin Les paradis artificiel de Charles Baudelaire, ça va faire je sais plus combien de fois que je le lis, mais c'est le genre de livre que j'adore re-lire sans arrêt



c'est une lecture juste parfaite pour moi en ce moment!
