And the Geneva Convention which the members of the UN agreed upon no cruelty to POWs. Now when joining the UN, you can't just pick and choose which rules you want to abide by. |

How about: Iran, Koweit, Shiites in north, systematic torture/imprisonement/random executions of their own population. Hell they're even blowing their own citizens up in pieces and you tell me that they need to be treated with respect. Most of the people imprisoned were sadam/baath loyalists who are still using the population as human shields and hiding in civilian locations in order to cary on their attacks. |

It wasn't the fact that Saddam killed so many innocent people and forced poverty on his country that led the United States to them. It was always about oil and territory. It's sad that young men and women, American or Iraqi, are dying for this. |
