lone deranger is one of the top psytrance albums imo
shpongle of course was an eye(third)-opener for many, including yours truly
curious to see what he's got up his sleeve.

a bit turned off by peoples' attitude as to how he is some sort of entity higher than anyone else, and how everything he touches turns to gold, but that is peoples' fault not his

whats interesting about this is that its effects are so different depending on dosages
at lower dosages it can be very good for socializing, partying, music, visuals, etc.
but starting at 25 and higher, it can be psychedelic as fuck

The new edition of this monthly stormer of a progressive party.

Come see our local heroes of the progressive scene, whether it be trance, house, electro, or any good music one can dig to.

2021 St. Denis (corner Ontario)

Starts at 21:30 until 3:00

Vano will start the night with some house
Then it will be OSG and Drenkrom taking it slightly up a notch (not necessarily bpm wise but possibly intensity wise).

Only $5 to get in.

Plenty of couches for those that are tired after a long week and a great bar for those that want to do something about that fatigue.

See you all soon.

i really do not think that ayahuasca is a good place to start anything
if anything, start with nndmt and then go to ayahuasca
just because nn acts so much faster and is so overwhelming, you do not really have the time to realize your death that ayahuasca provides you with

anyways, with all of these compounds, i don't think anyone should seek them out
they always seek you out when the time is right

stimulants make pupils dilate
why? certain parts of the brain are affected in such a manner
notice that same thing happens when we are stimulated without "drugs", such as when looking at something we enjoy looking at

The abstract alone (at the link above) is an enticing read, and raises some pretty far-out questions.

Anyone has it?

definitely an interesting read
here is an excerpt:
"When I was first going under there were these insect creatures all around me. They were clearly trying to break through. I was fighting letting go of who I am or was. The more I fought, the more demonic they became, probing into my psyche and being. I finally started letting go of parts of myself, as I could no longer keep so much of me together. As I did, I still clung to the idea that all was God, and that God was love, and I was giving myself up to God and God's love because I was certain I was dying. As I accepted my death and dissolution into God's love, the insectoids began to feed on my heart, devouring the feelings of love and surrender.
It's not like LSD. Things really closed in around me, in comparison to the spaciousness that I feel with LSD. There was no feeling of space. Everything was in close. I've never seen anything like that. They were interested in emotion. As I was holding on to my last thought, that God equals love, they said, "Even here? Even here?" I said, "Yes, of course." They were still there but I was making love to them at the same time. They feasted as they made love to me. I don't know if they were male or female or something else, but it was extremely alien, though not necessarily unpleasant. The thought came to me with certainty that they were manipulating my DNA, changing its structure."

On another note, one of the best books I ever read on mind exploration is Pinchbeck's Breaking Open the Head. Strongly strongly recommended.

Weed for one would not make them nearly as much money on taxes as tobacco eg., as anyone can grow weed themselves and not pay anything whereas who's going to make their own cigarettes?
as for the other reasons i disagree with you is that legalizing other drugs will make sales of alcohol and possibly tobacco drop, and these companies will have none of that
plus, the government already makes a shitload of money on the illicit drug trade, why should they bother admitting their hypocrisy just to possibly make a few extra bucks with taxes, if that?

it is very interesting what you hear, frank. don't believe all of it.
dmt is not so easy to find in montreal, but one has access to the plants containing dmt and an maoi (needed for oral ingestion of dmt); however, preparation is not obvious; and either way, it is not suggested to do ayahuasca without someone with experience in the trip and the ritual. the vine is sacred, do not mess with it.
having said that, dmt is a fascinating subject, do try it if you can get your hands on some.
now to answer some of the above questions, synthetic dmt is a white powder that is smoked and which produces a trip not very similar to lsd at all, something completely different; in fact, some characterize the dmt space as idiosyncratic to the full extent of that word.
