Heres the basics: pure DMT is a white powder, its usually smoked, and it will send you to outerspace and back in less than 20 minutes. I've taken ayahuasca, which is a plant mixture (taken orally) whose active ingredient is DMT combined with an MAOI. The trip is less intense than pure DMT, but it lasts about 2 hours rather than 10 minutes. Sorry for the bad news, but MDMA will never be as good as the first couple of times you do it. I've done MDMA for about 3 years, no more than one pill per month. I still enjoy it, but its no longer the spiritually mind-blowing experience it first was.

This argument is pointless because the term "designer drug" is not a proper scientific term, its a scare phrase invented by the government and which has caught on in the press. Whether a drug is or isn't a "designer drug" has absolutely no relevance for someone that is interested in a drug's safety, its effects, or possible uses. Its just a neat little phrase for anti-drug people to use when propagandizing against MDMA.

The more pills you do, the less effect each pill will have...even if the pills themselves are good quality. The high you get from MDMA depends on how much serontonin is available to be released in your brain, so if you have little serontonin left, even the best ecstasy won't do much. Say someone pops two pills, rolls for 4 hours, and wants to get high again. But the first two pills depleted most of the person's serontonin, so that person might need to pop four or more pills to get the same effect...for another 4 hours. So someone on an ecstasy binge can easily consume a couple dozen pills over the course of a weekend.

I had a really close call right before I started this thread. I was walking home in Bangkok at about 3 in the morning, coming home from a club, when two Thai police came up to me and said they were going to search me. They went through all of my pockets, scrutinizing every single item. In my back pocket was a small amount of K wrapped up in a piece of paper. SOMEHOW they missed it...I was shitting my pants at the time. If they had found it, I probably would have had to pay a serious bribe, or check in to the Bangkok hilton.

Alot of people in this forum have used drugs at some point - which, in the eyes of the law, is an "offence" for which you could be put in jail. Its a rediculous scenario. Drugs are supposedly illegal to protect people from their harmful effects, but most drug users suffer much more from the legal consequences they will face (if caught) that they ever will from the substances that the law thinks we need "protection" from.

With that in mind, i'm curious to know how many people on this board have had legal problems as a result of drug use (or close calls), and what you think an appropriate legal solution is.

Whether or not you have ADD, speed/ritalin will defintely improve your concentration and mental focus. Its not uncommon for college kids to take either speed or ADD medication and churn out an essay overnight. I've never had hallucinations on DXM like what Fred described, but they do occur for some people. In my 3rd plateau experiences, I usually have my eyes closed, and am able to "see" places such as rooms or landscapes. Sometimes I even "see" the exact room I'm in, and can move around in it in my imagination, even though I'm actually just lying down with closed eyes. Sometimes I can't even remember if my eyes are closed or open. If I did open my eyes, my vision would be so fucked up that I'd be functionally blind.
