thanks for the info. It makes re-watching the show from a different perspective. Difficult to talk about it without posting spoilers. So I'm going to stop. =)

Why should that prevent him from posting? I post while watching shows all the time! Two screens. It's a requirement these days, is it not?

Yeah, 13 or 14, something like that. It probably would have been illegal x)

Bran is 7 rather than 10,
Arya is 8 or 9,
Rickon is 3 (rather than... 6, I think?),
Robb and Jon are 14 at the very beginning (17 on the show), 15 when the war starts.
Sansa is actually 11.

Jeoffrey is 12, I don't remember what age they cast him in the show, I suppose around 14-16.
Just like Tyrion is 13 in the story I transcribed in my notes, but 16 when he tells it on the show.

And yeah. This kind of daring is part of what got me hooked. You can't tell what he's gonna do to his characters.

...I hope they get the coming Daenerys scene right.

Kalisi is not only a nice pair of tits, but as well of one of the strongest and most interesting character of the story.

so many good characters in that show, hard to have one favorite. It's a love/hate affair on most of them and every show gets you more hook to the awesome ones and pissed at the evil ones!

highly recommended (there was also one of the best girl on girl action last week with a genius monologue. brilliant)

Khaleesi is her title. Daenerys (or Dany) is her name. ;)

Yes, this story is good at showing that people usually aren't really *evil* or *good*, black or white. They do things for their own reasons, that lead them a certain path...

I've read all the books and I agree. I might add Jon Snow to that list. And possibly Theon Greyjoy's sister (Not in the show yet. The way they introduce her in the books is teh awesome).
Except I think they took away from Tyrion. I can't quite put my finger on it, I guess it's because you (of course) can't hear him think on the show.

********

Sansa isn't meant to be such a bitch. She's really just a little girl (12 in the books, not 14) who's been sheltered in a faraway kingdom and who believes way too much in her illusions of chivalry and beautiful princesses, etc. ...and is being quite disillusion and confused by what reality turns out to be...

Here's an excerpt that, in the books, is shown around eps 5/6 (right after the Eyrie), but was moved later in the timeline and appeared in episode 9 (gives you a preview of Martin's writing style, as well as how close the TV series follows, even in its modifications :) ):

I've used A for most of my life and I've never had any issue with the roll emptying itself on the ground, wtf?
I find it more aesthetically pleasing.

Then I switched to B to see if it changed anything. To see why so many people were so aggressive about it being the best way.

Then I started asking myself why I even have an opinion about this.

Now I'm just confused and helpless.
