Just curious to see what our scene's DJs pasts were like that got them where they are now.

I myself want to toy around with making music for myself at home to play video games or do things around the house. As well as make stuff for when I'm out and about, like something kicking for work outs, then something tranquil for days in the sun (whenever the heat comes back tabarnak!) I'd say it stemmed from video games like Xtreme-G racing on the N64 back in the day as well as older PC games. Then went into listening to old DOME LIVE radio broadcasts and ending up hating them, then went off to find a new source of cool music.

I could go on but as I said, I'm curious to see how others came to wanting to mix or make their own music.
I'm feeling mischiveous right now..

Sheer passion...I've been obsessed with electronic music since I was quite young. Actually I enjoyed myself a long time in the parties, made a lot of friends there and I'm still having quite a killer time enjoying the performances of countless DJs and artists from a wide range of styles. At some point though, quite late (2008), I realized that being such a music junkie gave me a potential as a DJ in itself. Several of my friends were already established DJs so I had the opportunity to test my skills in every afterparty. It turned out I had some. So I became a DJ so I could start at some point and build unusual musical routes for people to enjoy with me. I've been happy ever since, and had a lot of (illigetimate) children with some princesses. That's it

2000 : I was 10 y/o and I discovered DJing when I was watching MusiquePlus and there was Linkin Park or Limp Bizkit or any Nu Metal band playing. I was obsessed with the DJ scratching in the background and it started from there since I wanted to try what he was doing (although I'm horrible at scratching). Then at 11 I started producing and I started doing drugs and pay for hookers. Now I'm in rehab for Heroine addiction.

Well, you dance you dance and then you know all the tracks
and the styles, and one day you ask yourself what can you do
for the scene... you have that feeling that you want to do
something more

Somes are promoters, others do poy and arts... others are djs I guess

I discovered rave music before raves and I was in music school
with concerts and everything so being dj was a new scene where
I can perform

All my life I had that pleasure to play music to people

...

oh.. and blowjobs
I'm feeling breeeeee right now..

Peut-être qu'il dit ça sur son profil juste pour se pogner les jeunes minettes.
Mais pas plus tard que cette semaine il disait avoir peur des filles alors.

I started dj'ing to get a better understanding of how tracks merged together from the dj's perspective. I then quit because I quite dislike the cacophonous sound of cueing up tracks with cdj's.
I'm feeling shiraz right now..
