Here is my latest mix, Mayhem In Dreamland. It contains many of my favorite modern Hardcore hits, as well as some re-imagined classics. The mix has been recorded on turntables in May 2010.

Don't worry, you're next in line after the Terrans! ;) Eitherway, the first game of the trilogy comes with all three races playable in multiplayer, so it's not that big of a deal. Also, since they are all released separately, the three campaigns are probably going to be even more epic and spectacular.

Thank you Noah and everybody involved for a very fun night of dancing! I've heard it was busted later on, but I left around 3 so I was lucky enough not to see any of it. I really liked the deco and lighting in the bigger room, and both sound systems were fantastic. DJ Sunstorm gave us an excellent set, full of upfront happy goodness. Thank you Alex! Seriously, the guy started mixing only about a year ago, and he already mastered his equipment and music like a pro.

OMG!

Yes that was me, I'm actually still in my stage right now, and this was my first ressuscitation intervention. I was working last night from 19:00 to 7:00 this morning. Tonight is my last internship shift, and after that I'm off to the big exams and to get my diploma =)

About last night:
My two partners and me got callled on this situation around 21:25, and got there at 21:30 (thankfully we weren't to far). The First Respondant firemens were already giving the patient CPR, and had their defibrillator hooked to the patient, a 60 y/o men with no known health problems, apart from controlled diabetes. His wife was also there, crying and screaming for him to wake up, which was pretty damn sad. We took over the firemens great work, although they stayed there to help up secure that man into our vehicule as quick as posible. Unfortunately, the patient didn't make it, and his death was confirmed at the hospital, but not before trying another series of manoeuvers and medications.

I'm also hoping to never have to use these skills in a rave environment, without all the most benefitial equipment, but you never know, and I'll be ready for it.

What compilations are you into? I don't listen to any Makina myself, but the little I've heard of it sounded quite different than most Happy/UK Hardcore and Freeform out there. I would like to give it another listen =)

That is very well said. There are a lot of promoters out there making big efforts, but most of them are not necessarily sold 100% to a single style of music. I don't think they necessarily should, and varied parties can be quite fun, but sometimes, trying to make everyone happy does the opposite.

I also believe that certain styles of music are not meant to be enjoyed one after the other. It can be a bummer for a dj to be given the task to keep the hype on a room with, say, psy trance, when it's full of kandy kids that were enjoying their cheesiest hhc anthems 2 minutes ago, or vice-versa. They might not feel like switching tempo so radically, and decide to go take a breather instead.

Makes me think of starcraft/protoss stuff, the nerd in me wants!

Unfortunately, it's the only design that's out of stock for medium sizes... I guess I wasn't the only one to like it!

Yeah, it's more or less like stumbling upon old tapes you even forgotten you had filmed, and watch it again just for the memories. I mostly skipped over the parts taking place at parties I didn't attend, which is like 90% of the whole 3 hours.

I also wish it would be split into some kind of structure, so I didn't have to download and browse through the whole 3 hours to watch the parts about the Hardcore scene or the psy parties.

I'm also a bit disappointed that the title still makes no sense, even once the footage fully released. Why not just call it something more generic, that would at least give a hint of explanation or sense to the unaware watcher about what he is about to see?

I must agree with most people here... I have been very skeptical about that project from the start, mostly judging from all the animosity it seemed to stir up. In the end, the final result is a very cool recollection of honest commentaries covering many different local (underground or not) party scenes.

I like the fact that there is no commentator to provide a pre-defined point of view, rather letting the audience make their own opinion of what they are seeing and hearing.

Props to the footage of The Final Raves'R'Us! The Save Me massive sing-along part is EPIC! =D Damn I wish we had more HHC parties @ Level, this place is so perfect (despite it being in Laval).

The music was great! Full of vocals that became all-time classics, and plenty of piano rolls and stadium-like synths, all on a constant breakbeat+4/4 kick. I feel the roots of Happy Hardcore in there. Then again, the roots of almost every rave music genre are probably in there :P

High quality free music, up for grabs! Get it while it's hot! =)

oh yes, Zerg are still there to fuck you up in the first 2 mins of a game if you don't prepare accordingly ;)

Oui, et je l'ai donné à mon frérot, aussi amateur de RTS. On a joué un peu ensemble, mais il est pas très disponible ces derniers temps, alors j'suis toujours ouvert à dautres teammates :)

On the [ Battle.net ] website, in my account management options, the link to download the MAC client is not available right now, so I don't think it is possible yet...

Thanks man, but I applied to the beta test and was lucky enough to be selected in one of the first waves of admissions. I don't have any game buddies yet though, and I would love to play some arranged 2v2 or even 1v1.
