THAT was a Kickass Party!!!! I so enjoyed every minute of it! I can say its one of the best party I attended.
I must admit I dont like that venue that much (bathroom and air issues!) but i guess it was more well prepared for this event than for Hard as Fuck 2, since i found it more enjoyable this time.
The music was JUST PERFECT. i loved every set i heard. Mille Pattes Cheeze/Anthem Rush was crazy, Tipsy's oldschool crazyness was too much fun, Goodfellaz stuff was really refreshing too.
Im so happy i got to see all of you peoples again, and meet some new rockin persons!! I hope to see you all again soon :D

Alors?

Was too much fun!! everybody was there (except poor louis :P), I met an impressive number of extra-nice peoples, the music was incredible(too much freeform at the beggining for me though), Brisk gave us the best set i ever heard (and I really mean ever), The Vibe was magic, the crowd was so on fire the roof was dripping goo, and i really loved the venue. But there are still peoples i wanted to meet and that i havent got the chance too :( ah well I guess Another party like that have to be thrown now :D

Screwhead ur just a Sequel and remake hater.. Check out for the american-sequel of The Ring comming out sometimes... Ask Matricks he knows all about horror movies...0 AND coasters.

And by the way Texas Chainsaw Massacre actually had some scary scenes and btw LeatherFace does "scalp" your face, take it and make a beautiful mask with it..

Considering that I'm one of the only people on this whole PLANET who liked Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4: The Next Generation, and Children of the Living Dead, I see absolutely NO way you could consider me a sequel/remake hater. :b

The american sequel of the ring is being directed by the guy who did the "actual" sequel to Ringu (Ring2 as opposed to the director of Rasen), and is going to also contain elements of Ringu0: Birthday, which was a prequel explaining Sadako (Samara for anyone who hasn't seen the original)'s power as well as an "aftermath" of what happens to the mom and her son after the original movie.

And yes, Leatherface "Scalps" your face, that's why he's called leatherface. He takes your face off and tans it and wears it as a mask made from human leather. The thing they left out, which was the glue holding the movie together, was the fact that the family was a family of CANIBALS. THEY EAT PEOPLE. Leatherface was originaly based on Ed Gein, who wore the skin of dead people, made furniture from their bones and lampshades from their skin, he had a belt buckle made of human nipples and he dug up and skinned his dead mother and MADE A SUIT out of her to wear when he didn't know what to do. (He would put it on and pretend he was her giving him orders because he'd never done anything "on his own" in life or growing up)

The remake took out the dinner scene, which was crucial to the original, as well as the canibalism aspect. They watered down one of the best horror movies in history and made it slick and full of action for the MTV Music video generation who can't WATCH anything that doesn't have action and tits every 7.3 seconds. The movie made no attempt whatsoever at REALLY horifying you, just stringing together a bunch of one-shot SHOCK moments. There's one scene in particular that sums up the comparison of both movies: The hammer that both Leatherface uses to smack his first victim in the head.

The original used a small, more percise hammer that took several blows, like the original's films timing and writing, that hits the viewers slowly, percisily, and ultimatily leading to an increase of horror till the very end.

The new Leatherface uses a sledgehammer with a single blow, and that's the kind of heavy handedness that the film delivers with almost every scene, hitting the viewer once with something fast and shocking and then giving up, ultimately making it a pale imatation of the original.

I just can't agree with you... I mean, the first one is a great movie, but its just not scary at all, i laughed to most of the scenes, especially the dinner scene... but its still a good movie overall... But i admit it would have been better if they had kept the cannibalism aspect in the sequel. would have loved to see leatherface momma taking a bite in erin's leg :P

I saw both the old Texas chainsaw massacre and the 2003 remake, and i must say the first one is kinda too old to get my attention... I still got a good laugh watching it. The remake was really scary, but it get kinda stupid after erin escape the house and it all start looking like any other slasher movie, where the girl just run screaming with a wet t-shirt and the bad guy always catch on her even if he have only one leg and one arm...
