les "émeutes" dans les banlieues françaises font partie d'un cercle vicieux... après la guerre d'algérie, les harkis (les maghrébins qui ont aidé l'armée française) ont été + ou - obligés d'immigrer en france, plutôt que de se faire lyncher en restant en afrique... du coup ça fait quelques décennies que la population d'origine maghrébine augmente de + en + en france, et bien souvent dans des ghettos. le choc des cultures est flagrant, et beaucoup essaient de faire leur loi plutôt que de s'intégrer... mais en même temps, les français sont en grande partie racistes (ou dumoins xénophobes refoulés), et ne laissent pas vraiment de chance aux immigrés maghrébins (qu'ils soient de nationalité française depuis quelques générations ou non).

du coup ya comme un malaise permanent, et la police française (des gros niais qui se prennent pour des sherrifs) vont taper dans le tas ; et réciproquement, les français d'origine maghrébine pourrissent la vie des flics quand ça leur chante... bien sûr c'est une grosse généralisation, mais le phénomène est bien présent. et le cercle vicieux aussi... l'histoire c'est pas de savoir qui a tapé sur l'autre en premier, c'est plutôt de réussir à débloquer cette situation pourrie !

à mon avis ça finira soit en révolution => 6ème république, soit en état fasciste d'extrême-droite (dumoins officiellement, parce que ça l'est de + en +)

you should be aware that you can see the world the way you want, especially about arts such as music... it's working with emotions and feelings, which are widely a personal and informal thing. but yes, with cartesian explanations you can reduce anything to what you want.

i can't believe what i read in some of the posts here...

anyway, québécois is french as it was talked about 500 years ago and evolved differently, that's all ! would you like all commonwealth countries to speak "perfect" british english exactly the same way ? americans, aussies, irish, britons, ... these are about as different as québécois, french, créole, réunionnais, and other francophone countries !

and i really prefer spoken québécois to spoken french : at least there are intonations, tone variations, mouth dynamism, and other phrases !!!

and then for the soul :) helps to relax, relativise (i guess this isn't a proper english word... anyway), and become more genuine => that's a key to happiness !

that's only my personal opinion obviously, but to me this is typically over-produced music... too commercial, nothing original, always the same numetal sound, always the same stereotypical music, everything is in the look and the attitude... and no more place for the music. that's just my opinion !
