Longtime friend and collaborator with Lenny Dee, Julian Liberator was one of the key figures in bringing electronic music to the free party milieu. Together with Aaron and Chris, he formed the Liberator DJs in 1991. They went on to become stalwarts of that scene, godfathers of Acid Techno, and pioneers of UK raves. Always after the next challenge, he was one of the first DJs from the London free party scene to push things away from the dominant acid sound towards a more percussive, techno edge. His label 4 X 4 has from the beginning, championed a more minimal, techno funk: dance floor driven, but always with an experimental twist.

Satronica has been involved in Hardcore and other forms of aggressive electronic music ever since he started supporting The Horrorist (aka Oliver Chesler) in the mid-90's by manning the live equipment and performing vocals for his infamous shows. He has dj'ed and performed all over North America and Europe spinning a brutal mix of dark and deranged selections. Bonnaventure is a nightmare right now, total mess. Trying to figure out where the hell to go is near impossible.

Not to hijack the thread, I completely agree with you Lee it's a fucking travesty how in many metros there's not 2 working escalators and people are expected to walk the 2-4 levels of stairs up or down depending on which one is broken. I always assumed there was an elevator or something for special use, but now i know thereisn't and that sucks!

But on another note, have any of you seen the bullshit new system of booths they're setting up everywhere? At Bonnaventure it's absolutely terrible, same with at Sherbrooke. I have no idea what the hell they're thinking they're doing ... did they even look at the design from a practicality standpoint?
