They are constantly looking for new crew. You have to do a 2 weeks training in Quebec City and you're in ! To become a captain/ engineer is another story, but to become a regular crew ( cook, cleaning, general maintenance, painting, etc) all you have to do is the marine emergency response course. They are currently hiring right now. read more here: [ www.marinfo.gc.ca ] you basically work a full month and get a month off. you stay around the st-lawrence river, but sometimes have to go in labrador, newfoundland and such. ohhhh interesting. |

 Coolness: 71735 | I think a fair amount of people here have worked at pivotal and there are mixed reviews, though I think most people like it. hehehe Tipsy used to work there when it was called cardex. I worked there and quit after a few weeks but it was a different place back then.
Dagwoods is 100 % hit/miss...depending on whether or not your manager is a psycho crazy asshole who treats you like shit or if you actually get to work with someone cool....it's dagwoods the tips aspect is not that enticing. |

But some people I work with are genuinely looking to make their careers here. To each their own :) At least I'm not on the phones anymore, that's the trick to any call center job :P |
