Epic Fail. He used to play Acid Techno like I did. Old friend of mine. Hell, he was at my wedding.

Yeah, he broke the world record of the longest DJing set at the time... and yes he was sober (which is highly unusual for the guy) when he did it. There was a guy from the Guinness Book of Records standing close to him during the entire time to ensure he wasn't, erm, cheating.

The last one I went to barely had 40% attendance. It's like sequels, the first few ones are amazing, then it starts to get redundant. Not to mention the crowd changed drastically from fun fur wearing ravers to Laval guidos and guidettes on speed which sort of killed the mood.

I remember - a LONG time ago - rave flyers were only available in record stores and they'd never contained a location, always a phone number with a voice mail that became active 24hrs prior to the party and most always contained some of the most confusing directions you've ever heard.

Milton & Clark. The cornerstone of Montreal raves. I do remember the old Taz. I miss that place. The karting place on De LaSavane was fun until the owner started getting fucking greedy and retarded. There was also the Bingo place on St-Jacques, Nazareth street... Ah the memories...

I would say it sounded GOA to me also... I want GOA... Every DJ I have told to play GOA always plays something else... Why is that... Who can play GOA Trance anymore!
I'm feeling nuclear right now..

GOAway. And I apologize as it seems that portion of Nataraja's DJ career totally escaped my damage memory.

I used to love the Goa CDs my friend had back in the day... that was the first trance I ever heard I guess... it seemed really exotic and way trippier than the "psychedelic" stuff I heard in Montreal. I used to listen to it in my headphones during exams at the library when I wanted to zone out all the noise and concentrate

actually wait... the first trance mix I ever really listened to from start to finish was "Journeys by Superstar DJ Keoki" mix CD around 1994-ish =)

Double A is the guy on left, either with the gray shorts or wearing the shirt with white stripe. Twist is the guy with the smoke. I don't know/never met them, I just know from people tagging my pics on FB. For all I know the tags might be wrong.
