Yes you feel like shit now, yes you might feel like killing yourself NOW but the greatest thing about life is that it continues ! I bet you can remember numerous times where you've felt like shit but when you look back on them today . It don't matter anymore because it ain't in your life anymore or you've moved on. Don't live in the past, if shit happens to you today, don't fear your emotions, just don't get carried away by them !
If it's a girl (which I assume it is lol), just go out and live, don't stay at home crying over her or feeling sad. I'm not saying DON'T get those feelings, just don't let them take over your life. Go out, smell the fresh air, take a stroll in the forest, try new things , meet new people ,etc... Oh and one other thing, DO NOT talk yourself into thinking this is all your fault or asking yourself questions that are hardly answerable like " why is this happening to me?", " Why me?" , blabla because that will kill you from the inside out ! I used to be in a very intense relationship, i was madly in love and it was mutual, it went on for 3 almost 4 years, and one of those years, we were engaged. Had it all set up, even a plan to where to move the whole nine. it was crazy, but it worked then. It was always peachy, we both were going though rough patches, and one those i'm still dealing with, but as must as it broke my heart, and i still hold part of it, it was best to end it, because it was becoming a downward spiral, and i loved him too much for him to hate me or resent me later, I learned the best thing to do is talk it out, to feel it all out, let yourself have those emotions, explore the feelings and the intensity of those emotions, and not hold back. it will feel horrible but with time and truly feeling it out, and not holding back, it will be better for you.
there is no time limit on emotions or what you are feeling, and NEVER put one or feel the need to. much love and care to you. |

It was heart breaking, and embarrassing all at the same time, having to call and cancel everything, call all my family and tell them it was off...I never thought I would recover from that...but I did. I still wear my ring. Not really sure why, maybe just as a reminder that, while it felt like it at the time, my life is not over.
