 Coolness: 27075 | ah, i recall trying to sleep one day while a roommate of mine was listening to happy hardcore.. after an hour i finally went "WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE THE SAME SONG ON REPEAT???" and apparently it was actually a "mix" that had played at least 20-30 songs before i had said anything..
moral of the story, happy hardcore all sounds the same to me, and it makes my head hurt. |

happy disturbing? its an happy music for happy people, if you are sad and dont like your life, there's a bridge over there and there, go kill yourself. also. its a genre that some like, and some don't, but who cares in the end really? i like most electronic music, and produced a lot of kind, really but really often, and let me tell you this, happy hardcore is far the less "same" music ever made. you know why? because every genre is the same music. you are maybe just too in your genre to understand that matter! also the difference happy hardcore, is the old music, from 90-2000. the happy song made with tracker and the roland 808 and 909. uk hardcore is somehow an evolution of it, but is more an evolution of the acid house music. that was fast. however, go learn a damn thing about music, before speaking about it! and trying to ruin it. do i try to go ruin your electro or dnb scene? no. i respect it. and even help the promotor with it. so shut the fuck up and keep the scene alive dammit! if you dont like happy or hardcore rave, just dont go to it! |

In Montreal, it's definitely at an all time low, then again it's the case with a lot of other underground music genres over here. However, it's at an all time high in it's homeland, the UK. The genre sometimes goes under the name UK Hardcore nowadays. I guess it's to better represent the variety in sounds, that aren't always as sugary as they used to be back in the 90's.
