Could you picture a girl running to the dance floor saying: "omg omg omg! that's my song!!" ? It's great music, technically interesting but boring for any party or bar night in my opinion Not to start a flame war here, altho that would be fun, but... thats a pretty lame response?? When I hear insano heavy ass DnB at a party and get goosebumps, you're trying to tell me that's not "Exciting", cuz some little girl doesnt run onto the dance floor screaming "thats my song"?? When I get punched in the head in a mosh pit, at a metal show, that's somehow Boring??? When I see Necro on stage rapping about dead body desposal, on top of a grimey ass beat, am i supposed to Yawn and get out of the show to find some skanks to shake my ass with instead? I love fun bubbly music also, to Death!, but please don't tell me something isn't "EXCITING", just cuz it doesn't appeal to little girls... If it's destroying dance floors across the globe, is it just because all those people are BORING??? |

I think jungle or DnB is hype, fun, thrilling and energetic (exciting). Dubstep is just somewhat a bit more relax and chill. Still cool though.. never bashed it, relax! My definition is clearly different than yours. And that's okay! We don't have to agree ;) |

 Coolness: 166780 | i <3 dubstep. i've been loving it before i even knew it existes. it's kind of the music i would hear something that sounded a bit like dubstep and be all like yeahhh i need more of that music! but then it would be mixed into something else....
and when i went to shambhala in 2007 i was so happy there was so much of it! it's like the perfect sunshine music... i'm happy people mix it in raves now. |

For so long I fought it and hated it with a passion. One day I stopped, listened and realized that dubstep is the shit. There are so many disgusting disgusting tracks...HUGE fat wonky ass bass lines... mmmmm.... dubstep. I still think it's the retarded little brother of DnB though! 
It gets me moving,Dancing to it is easy! I love my DnB but I tend to exhaust myself if I don't watch it. That being said DnB will always be my favourite but.
