i don't know about an actual pertinence for the parti quebecois in the modern quebec of today... but french speakers of quebec who today SHIT on the head of this parti are not UNDERSTANDING HISTORY and a lots of SHIT. if no one would have say something 50 years ago, quebec wouldn't be the fantastic place to live for today! the english minority would still have the executive jobs, the $ and the access to education... the french majority would still be working in factory and be dominated! So anyone whining and bitching about shit that happened 300 fucking years ago should get with the times. EVERYONE here has ancestors they definitely shouldn't be proud of. Native americans sold their lands to english and french settlers for alcohol and weapons, most of our beloved french ancestors were either uneducated farmers who were given guns and shipped across the Atlantic sea to defend a land they have never seen or cared for or criminals shipped far far away from France where they weren't welcomed anymore and english colonists were sent by England to secure one of the most inhospitable territory the wolrd at the time has ever seen in the name of the crown and usually at all costs (which meant rather brutally most of the time) Now, with that being said, can anyone tell me how ANY OF THIS made you who YOU are in 21st century Canada ? My last name has an accute accent in it and I'll be damned if I'll side with a french-canadien political party because of this, considering mostly anyone named HUSSEIN, ALI, RODRIGUEZ and such don't identify to ANY provincial party. My Own 2 canadian cents |
