When it comes to wine i'm a total newb. I know i like Sangre de Toro and Casillero del Diablo, but thats about it.
I'm feeling back to the grind right now.. |

well i don't know much about non-french wines, but i've had some that i enjoyed ; the thing about french wine being so special comes from the way it's made, with many its rules and traditions... such good wines have an AOC label (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, ie. "this wine is a genuine <what'swrittenonit>") and the green and white circle on the neck tip wrap reads "RÉCOLTANT", which means it's an identified house/castle whose people have bottled the wine themselves.
of course there's crappy french wine too... if you check for the AOC and "RECOLTANT" labels, and if you respect the aging and serving temperature, then you'll probably hardly ever get disappointed (provided you choose a cépage (grape strain) that you like) et oui c'est le message en français sur paris, avec du vin, de l'absinthe, du pastis, etc... :P
I'm feeling phd powa !!! right now.. |
