Ok man, ant party... let's do it... anyone from any city is invited. We create a crazy looking sculpture to set the theme, and then have people play while we play this series of full-length movies as a visual accompaniment. Who's down? Seriously.
I'm feeling sunless right now..

That was a really great doc, even though it was played out like some kind of Hollywood drama of good vs evil.
I tired to look for a torrent for you, Mickos, but there's another movie with the same name about the forbidden city in china, so it's hard to tell the two apart since none of the files seem to have descriptions. I suggest you rent it a video store. That's what I did.

Oh, just realized that the name of the movie is called: La Citadelle assiégée, and Flo had posted it earlier. You watch the whole movie in parts on Google video.

wow...that is amazing. HOw do they know how to build stuff like that? Like they don't have brains, so how do they know how? And how do they communicate with eachother and process what theyre suppose to be doing collectively. Its amazing how they know without being taught how

Ants have a main brain and several smaller brains that run along the length of their bodies called, “ganglia”. The ganglia are little assistant brains to the main brain. The brain inside the ants head controls things like smell, sight and touch, but the smaller brains control, to some degree movement of the ant. Have you ever noticed that an ant will continue to twitch if you step on it? Even if the head is separated from the ants body, the legs will still twitch. This is because the smaller brains (ganglia) are still telling the ants legs to move!
I'm feeling ok right now..

But does that explain how they to build such amazing works of architecture such as this? Or how spiders can build webs? I understand it explains that they can move stuff, or spin silk in the case of spiders but how do they know to build cities or webs or hives or nests...do they learn from older ants when theyre young, like the way we learn to talk and walk? Or is more that they just know how?
I'm feeling hardstyle right now..
