It means I'm not your personal encyclopedia. If you want to know the latency so bad then look it up yourself and let us know if you please. If you have something to say to the contrary of what I said then say it. I'm not going to play your stupid game and find everything out for you. I did that for myself already and all I'm interested in now is whether it works. It would be nice to hear feedback from someone who has tried it out in a large network.

Nah, I've looked it up, you're just reiterating vista's selling points without having a clue as to what you're talking about. You might as well be a saleman for MS. "New IP Stacks" mean nothing. Lists of actual features in the IP stacks are something.

It's like saying "oh, the new version is better cause it's got new stuff in it!".

QoS is like, a network thing, and the packets. You should see em. Wow, does it ever do uh... packets... yeah... well. It does them so well you'll be like TCP/IP? That shit's so over, it's all about QoS packet stuff.

So basically you're saying everyone else is wrong and you are right? On what point exactly I'm not sure. I didn't pluck my information from microsofts webpage. They rewrote basically everything or at least that's what everyone says and I don't see how you're going to prove them wrong.

Here you can read about the network improvements and other stuff too:

[ arstechnica.com ]

I suppose that guy is completely full of shit and made it all up. And I'll totally believe a Windows hater over him and everyone else. I even read an article from a Mac user which admitted improvements. But of course Microsoft is so stupid that they decided to waste their time and money making a new operating system exactly the same as the last. Sure buddy.

Uhh, what? When did I say that? I'm just saying you have no idea what you're talking about.

Nice, IPv6, stop the presses! I better rush out and use Vista because IPv6 is now native... and... not used by a single network on the planet.

Don't worry I know what you're trying to say cause you've always been insane in the same way and nobody cares especially not me. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about either considering you haven't presented a single fact on the matter. All you do is ask dumb questions.

"Windows (the most widely-used desktop OS) didn't ship with IPv6 enabled, so there was no reason for software authors to bother support IPv6. And because software authors didn't bother supporting IPv6, there was no reason for anyone to enable it on their PC. A knock-on effect of this is that very few ISPs offer native IPv6 connections—after all, if none of their users want it, why bother? By making IPv6 a standard feature that's enabled out of the box, this situation might begin to change, and this easier-to-use, easier-to-secure protocol should become widely used and accepted."

If everyone used Vista it probably would be. Maybe it's the future, maybe it's not. At least Vista presents that option and "In Vista, there's a single IP stack, and it includes both IPv4 and IPv6."

Wow, you looked up the concundrum of IPv6 on wikipedia? Damn, and here I was knowing about this for years. I wish I was up to your level or knowledge on this subject. What else can you teach me?

I would like to point out that you've produced no facts as to what makes Vista worth spending $300. "New" IP Stacks" is not a good reason.

I didn't know we were in a competition! Pathetic, who do you think I am anyways? Loser. Nor was I pointing out anything at all about IPv6 besides that it's activated in Vista by default.

That's also from the link I already posted, not wikipedia. You just get more pathetic by the minute. I can't believe you actually admitted you're own ego problems. I'm so jealous you knew about IPv6 for years.

You can read that link and also use google if you want to know what makes it worth USING. Obviously no operating system is worth paying 300$ for loser. I never even advocated Vista for starters. Though I do believe it is better.

You're the funniest person I ever met.

I'm never gonna get over this. "I knew about IPv6 for years OMG!". I don't remember claiming to be the authority on the subject loser.

Neoform always wants to seem 'smarter' than everyone else. Just ignore him.

Here is a comparison I made though. In world of warcraft, if I run my imac in windows with wireless N to a wireless N router I get between 200-300ms latency. In OS X on the same hardware I get 150-200ms latency.

So I can say that at least in terms of latency, OS X 10.5 beats windows XP. I haven't tried vista though. Clearly there is a difference in the network performance though between different OS'.

By the way, you were advocating the use of Vista, you inferred that if everyone used it then IPv6 would be deployed. You also said earlier that you like Vista, then you called me a windows hater, which is funny, since I have 7 windows boxes and only 2 macs.

Anyways I'll leave you alone. I posted my link, I'm happy. Argue with the link.
