What about wemf and all the tehcno djs there/ what about a bunch of toronto parties or when you guys invite unabomber to play and he does dirty ass techno for you guys? wow and then your generalizing underground base don 1 city in the entire countrys scene *sigh* I hate how people generalize and assume they are right because they have no experience or knowledge on the matter so they must be right I think undergroun d is made up of new and upcoming artists and ideas that people havnt seen or heard much of before and is just starting to rbeak through for instance toronto has this mungle thing going on, still fairly new, not many djs going towards that style and therefor i classify that as underground the same could be said for psy breaks as another example |

techno has many sub divisions, you can't say hardcore is underground and then say techno isn't. hardcore is techno. techno is too repetitive? hardcore hasn't been repetitive for some time now (depending on the label and track or artist). breaks is techno too. it's also "non-repetive" but still loop based. this argument is moot. what's underground is what's not pop, regardless of song strong structure. that's it. once again, bliss, making fun of well respected people like Clown is not gonna make you any friends. starting topics that are even more redundant than techno is also not helping your ego-maniacal cause. when will the madness end!!! |
