| Coolness: 685710 | Undead or Alive, with the idiot from SNL that ruined House of the Dead.. Katan or something.. It was so fucking retarded.. It's only a very small step up from a Uwe Boll movie.. Bad, bad jokes, horrible acting.. And this is coming from someone who say through Babes of the Living Dead.
The thing with the camp is Sleepaway Camp, where the big twist at the end of the first movie is that the girl that's been killing everyone turns out to be a boy.. Totally awesome! EPIC LULZ from the IMDB Parent's Guide: At the end of the movie, a penis is shown but it is very crucial to the plot. Now THAT's a trailer voice! I love those old horror movies.. |

| Coolness: 685710 | Asian ghosts are totally the best, but most of the asian ghost movies are just really badly edited and written I find.. They start amazing for the first 1/3, scary/creepy as all hell and really interesting.. Then for the 2nd third it becomes more of a mystery and less horror, as the people try and explain the ghost and find out what's going on.. and then the last third of the movie is just not scary, no more mystery, they know what the ghost wants and they help it achieve it's vengance/whatever..
There are a few exceptions to that (JuOn being the only one that immediatley comes to mind).. Marebito is totally one of my favorite asian horror movies.. It's also by the guy who did JuOn, he filmed it in between the original asian ones and the american remakes.. Totally awesome story! |

| Coolness: 96340 | I agree. "Marebito" is one of my favorites... also, "The Red Shoes"... I don't remember who the filmmaker was but it's somewhat recent... it's not bad! Also, the original thai version of "Shutter" (not the american one. I repeat, NOT the american one.). It's great. I saw it with Dee and she was screaming the whole time. lol.
But you're so right... at the end, they tend to want to help the ghost acheive what it wants and it sorta ruins the mood... |
