if i'm right, the bus pass price raised of 15$ in 5 years. Who here got a 15$ raise in 5 years? just there you see, it's more expensive for us. Meanwhile, those bastards are asking for more and more and who's gonna pay at the end? Georges is absolutely right about fucking GREEDYNESS. it's kinda make me sick... what's the % of the population who does have the same advantages then those fuckers? and they asking for more again? i hate them...
I'm feeling pfft heheh right now..

Yeah, but the ones who drive will still have the ability to go where they want, when they want, and not be limited to an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening to do all their traveling.
I'm feeling warcracktastic right now..

Unions can be useful. Many companies treat their employees rather well, just so that they don't unionize. But, like with everything else, there is balance and abuse.

And this definitely is abuse.

...I've never been happier to work 9-5.
Although getting stuck downtown makes for interesting situations, sometimes.

Le_D: yeah, we make a union of public transit users and vote how much we should pay. Then we all give only that amount when we go to buy our pass. They get no choice but to comply.
I'm feeling w00t right now..

bah, these guys just love complaining about inflamatory raises etc...
they make enough with a pension and benefits and every 2 years that's not enough

bitches

i remember going to elementary school on the bus and passes used to be 16$, now you have to deal with a pseudo fascist zeal to get to where you're going. they employ a bunch of angry 'i never made it through the police academy' douchebags to police their greed.

and wtf, why the hell does laval need a metro anyway? sometimes the stcum makes me want to drive a car
I'm feeling grumpy right now..

Well, one of the metros goes to right next a university. What makes no sense to me is that you can't get onto the metro with a reguar montreal bus pass or tickets, but it costs exactly the same as the montreal fare!

That's weird.. the longueuil metro always used normal tickts and passes.. although you'd need to use a zone 3 to take a bus there

yeah, that's what most people say.

Zone 2 is rather special, too. It's within the island of Montreal, but it's only for trains. Or something like that.
I'm feeling excited right now..

I honestly like the idea of getting a group of people together, preferebly students for the summer to take over all the striking employee's jobs. I'd gladly take 1/2 there salary for the summer. How much do they even make exactly?

Fuck them, most of the security guards in the metro's have fucking criminal records cuz they didn't do background checks backin the day.
I'm feeling nice :) right now..

I can't wait untill doctors and nurses go on strike on a day you get in a car crash or some kind of really bad accident. Solidarity is gonna be your top priority. The buses and metro are essential services, and it should be a crime to dissable them and take a whole island's worth of people hostage for a few more dollars that they're already getting way too much of.
I'm feeling warcracktastic right now..

thier salary is between 25 to 40$/h depending on the job they do, maintenance employes start at 15 but metro drivers are around 35-40

hahahahaha.

solidarité.

LE slogan utilisé à tort et à travers, sans plus même chercher à être justifié de l'utiliser.
Faudrait qu'eux commencent à être solidaires du reste de la population, pour se mériter la nôtre !
I'm feeling excited right now..

You're way too liberal dude.

If everyone was given the salary they want this economy would implode. The money has to come from somewhere you know..

These people are already way overpaid for the work they do, if they want more money, they should go find another job and see how much the janitorial industry really pays.
I'm feeling you up right now..

keep in mind some of those guys do deserve the money.
Metro drivers for example. How much shit do they got too deal with, they do witness body after body hitting thier windows.
