I voted sunday cause i was working at the polls yesterday..
out of 289 electors on the list 175 actually showed up to vote, putting turnout just above 60% on my end; and i doubt the other 40% were conscientious objectors.

If you dont want to vote, then fine, show up at the polls and "spoil" your ballot in a constructive way (yes theres such a thing as creative destruction), leave some message like "i will not ascribe to the tyranny of the majority" (from an actual 'spoiled' ballot), dont just cop out. Your absence just encourages a free hand to those who are- in your own words- depriving you of a choice.

none of their platforms moved me
-from experience, the liberals are a bunch of blow hards that only seem to focus on the economy, and by that i mean generating surpluses so the next party can spend it, and do nothing else but make empty promises
-the PQ has a decent socialist platform and i'd vote for them apart from the whole seperation bit, meaning they'll never get my vote
- ADQ i'm not too sure about, they strive to be the 'Quebec' Liberal party, but we'll see how they do. at least mario dumont pulled his head out of his ass this time around
- and well voting for any other is waste of a vote, especially depending on the writting you're in

yes...but its also likely i had an unusually low turnout. The provinicial average should be at least about 10% higher than that

Open your mind: separatism is the answer to a better tomorrow for EVERY SINGLE ONE who lives in Quebec. The federal government does not represent our interests, they represent Ontario's ultra-money oriented values, opposed to the "PQ has a decent socialist platform and i'd vote for them" idea that a huge majority of Quebecers (regardless of their nationality or first language) praise. We just are not Cnadaians in our values. It's not us.

uh?
if we separate, i give quebec 3 years before we became the 52 or something us state, they will buy us, or invade us...

The US can't invade Quebec..

what WILL happen if quebec separates is everyone with half an education will leave and quebec will turn into a poor socialist country like those found in South America.
I'm feeling you up right now..

they will buy us...
people in quebec arent diferent as people in the rest of canada and us, they want to do money

if you have a buisness and an us compagny wants to buy it for 3times the price its worth, what will you do?

no they will not invade us, with thier army, but with thier money

what WILL happen if quebec separates is everyone with half an education will leave and quebec

A huge majority of intellectuals in Quebec are for separatism.
Update » NormanWells wrote on Tue Mar 27, 2007 @ 2:09pm
Oh and... the US ALREADY invaded us with their money!!! Like... you guys think that's not been done YET??? Look outside!
Update » NormanWells wrote on Tue Mar 27, 2007 @ 2:14pm

I'm feeling politically raped right now..
