It's not ONLY cheaper if your building a high-end system so your statement was incorrect. It's cheaper if your building any system.

[ configure.dell.com ]

512MB RAM
80GB HDD
Windows XP Home
AMD Sempron 3400+
16DVD Burner
NVidia GeForce 6150
7.1 Built in Soundcard

$399

I dare you to build be a computer with those, or similar specs for cheaper. And a cardboard box doesn't count as a case.
I'm feeling anal right now..

well i cant build PCs so I need something custom made. I have had PCs built for me before and only one person - that being Screwhead was the only one who did a kick ass job and was able to make my ex piece of junk PC work.
But I dont have time anymore to go shopping for pieces, etc then meet someone to build it etc..
Unless someone offers to do all that for me and I just pay them. I am looking into Dells right now.
Thansk everyone for your advice !!

Anyhow, fuck it all to hell, call dell, get a barebone, tell 'em what you gonna be doing with it, have them NOT install an OS and just give you the CD, and I'll set the whole thing up for ya.

I work for beer;)
Check this out..

Links?

And "Free XP" doesn't count since Dell would be giving you a legit copy that you don't have to crack.

You wouldn't have to crack the copy I gave you either, and after looking up all that stuff I'm definitely not going back and giving you the links, but maybe I'll look for even cheaper stuff when I feel like it. Most of it is from Microbytes(which is already over-priced) and it is all new and not used, so you can check on their site if you don't believe me. With a legitimiate Windows XP copy there is obviously no way I can win this, that's a given. I would never purchase Windows.
Update » moondancer wrote on Wed Dec 6, 2006 @ 12:06pm
Subflower - I'm sure they give you a copy of Windows, he was saying that a free cracked version of windows doesn't count for his dare cause it's cracked.

Anyway, dare over, I'm bored of it, Angus wins. Sorry I always fill your threads with garbage.

It's great when you make a claim, then when i ask you to back it up with the sources you say "no".

I'll now just assume you were lying.
