 Coolness: 73065 | I persoanlly think house hasn't done anything original since fucking Thomas Banglater, (how ever you spell his name.)I wouldn't call that electroclash stuff new anyways, it's basically 80's music with up-graded equipment. I think there is a little Dark house coming out now, but the only damn track I ever found was Voodooamt - Nachti(somehting or other, there are too many non-sensicle letters in the name of this song). I personally don't mind it at all, and if it can bring some acid or atleast cool sounds into the mix I'll get up and dance.
Mind you personally I think Psytrance should grab Psytek and maybe there little bro progresive trance and go chill in a new genre. Name it something cool, maybe Nu Trance, people seem to like NU infront of there genres... If I could have two rooms at a party? I'd probably have a Psy and Breaks room. Maybe Hardcore, but that rhythmic noise stuff like frenchcore makes me want to kill myself right on the dance-floor. Spending New Years Eve with tiesto? Maybe if you take enough ecstacy it can be good.... On that note I agree wtih people when they say they'd prefer house to Mc.Trance. |

for house music i'd say he's pretty interesting. i bought his metallica remix to mix into electo and breaks sets.... and its fuckin' BAWLS OUT CRAZY!!! DANCEFLOOR MAYHEM!!!! i think the biggest problem with house is ppl who play it don't take enough influesnce from outside the "house circle" or just don't dig deep enough... straight line syndrome.... |

i hated house too when i was noob to electronic music too... then i got a job at stereo and got schooled by mark farina, derek carter, basement jaxx, groove armada, a man called adam nav bhinder and many more... i remember seeing hippy and halo kill shit at super underground raves too... i was playing with this guy for a while too... [ www.rainforce.ca ] and he schooled me on house by playing it in turntablist fashion that takes bad boy bill to school yo!! so ya house is way cooler than trance... |
