house at a rave? there's house everywhere else, we don't need it at a rave.
unless the selector is mad impressive, then it's all good
I'm feeling coffexpresso right now..

uh...

if you've never been to rave that had house music, you are soooo incredibly outta the loop.

for me afterhours and raves are very different... raves are generally psytrance/hhc/hardcore/nunrg/techno/electro/jungle/breaks/morning trance/hard trance/tech/psytech/goa/speedcore/trancecore and other undefined styles
but house? generally house is too slow and boring for raves, it's like elevator music for sure

1. Afterhours do not qualify as raves.

2. The only way to enjoy standard house music is to be fucked on pills.

3. If you want to get dodgy shit sold to you and listen to tedious music then go to Aria.
I'm feeling bemused. right now..

The thing with house I find is that it's more easily "digested" than other forms of electronic music. It doesn't really stand out imo, it's just the "generic" electronic music.. Not too fast, not too complex..
I'm feeling fat and sassy right now..

afterhours might not qualify as raves, but take in mind where the whole concept of afterhours comes from...

without detroit techno and chicago house....

there woulda never been any raves....

anyway... there is alot more hot chicks into house music than gay phsy trance...

and nu nrg isn't rave music at all....

its "hard dance" like they used to play at the fuckin' dome you homo...

-I am so old school that I fathered frankie knuckles foster child.

-All music has it's time and place.

-People enjoy music that makes them rebels, trendsetters, and gives them some identity, the newest genre will have a group of followers that swear that this is the only genre worth it's salt in the entire dance music industry. Three months down the road (or one, depending on the amount of crack available) they will change their genre and proclaim the new genre the only one ever worth listening to.

-People are ignorant, and will make broad classifications, stereotypes, generalizations and generally display their disrespect for music which should be supported. I'm talking generalizations like hitler took poland. If you mention you think our music is shite, the only people who will care are people who also think that the shitty music that started, helped found and innovated our music culture shouldn't be supported.

-The first claim is a lie.
-The last claim is true.
-This post invokes Godwin's law.

Please support your local music, and remember there are as many dj's as there are good parties to go to.

yeah I'd take house over trance any day... But if you want to bring acid in, then hard acid tek/trance is the only way to go, that shit's brutal.
