Hah, you sound like a PQuist after 1995 saying "it was a good close run, we'll get it next time"...

the Bloc lost seats, that's never a good sign, especially in an election this divided amoungst the parties.

Right, Duceppe is running in a federal campaign that only represents his province.. explain to me the logic behind that..

Federal givernment is NOT supposed to be provincial government. The only thing the Bloc wants to do is fuck up the federal system. He lost votes. Good.

(I say this as a quebecker as well just so you know, my interests are in quebec, but canada as well, so should all citizens of this country)

REPRESENTER. DÉMOCRATIE REPRÉSENTATIVE. Live with it and say something else, this is becoming redundant.

Supposedly there was a couple of francophone newspapers trying to convince people to vote for the conservatives for strategical reasons. Papers that were supposedly pro-seperatism. Some blamed the conservative votes on that. They figured they'd have better chances of getting what they want from the conservatives or something.
