The weirdest dream i had that i can actually remember was a few weeks ago;

i dreamt i was the mayor of some place and i went to some person's house, they told me to go upstairs and i ended up walking 18 flights of stairs. on the 17th floor there was a gorgeous girl there and we started making love. suddenly the place went all UV and black light with stuff glowing all over the place and it turned out the placed turned into an opera house and we had microphones as if we were part of the opera.

then i woke up. the weird part about it was that all the people in the dream were people i had never met before, so where did these people come from, what does it mean (if you believe in that stuff)? i never talk about my dreams but this one was just too weird
I'm feeling like getting slapped right now..

Am I like the only person who didn't find Waking Life to be anything special? The only effect it had on my life was that it took up however long it runs of my life. It didn't stimulate anything I had not already thought of or considered about life and reality at some point or another. It didn't really have a "story", it was more just a collection of diffrent views, strung together with a loose wrap-around that the main guy is quite probably dead. Kinda like a philosopher's Tales from the Crypt, except not entertaining. The only thing I really liked was the filter he ran the film through to make it cartoony, that was kinda cool.

the whole film was traced, thats about all that really impressed me too, it was fresh visually and other than that there was nothing special about it, but just the visual alone was good enough for me to recommend, but then again, I watch Thundercats when it's on so...

haha no. i haven't watched Hellraiser in a long time. (i didnt even know there was part 5,6,7 until recently)
these were big ass industrial nail... had to use both hands to pull it out, trying not to choke on my own blood and bile.

for some reason, my dreams are usually what horror are made of. If we can scan and record my dreams, Clive Barker, Lovecraft, and Stephen King will eat their heart out (or taking notes).

My nightmares are usually as gore as yours. I had the idea once to write them down and inspire myself from them to write horror movie scripts and stories.

Actually they're up to 8 for Hellraiser. The weird thing is, the movies work in steps of 2 for how good they are; 1+2 are AMAZING, 3+4 are hollywood crap, 5-6 take a new aproach (that a lot of people didn't like, but I found them to have good stories) and 7-8 are crap (7 is actually watchable, but 8, don't bother wasting your time.)

Yeah, they should do like they did in the comics and focus on other cenobites now, but Pinhead is such an icon that they feel the need to put him in every single Hellraiser movie.. But the 5-6 (Inferno and Hellseeker) were pretty good. Diffrent kinda take on how the story is delivered..

didn't see em since the 3rd. i was in the mood for a gory horror flick and was saddened to see that 'deader' should have been changed to 'lamer'

i actualy did see inferno, is that where these twins get fused together? for some reason that's the only part that sticks out in my mind
I'm feeling a little bored right now..

But I stopped to write movie scripts a while ago. I worked on a friend's project, which was an horror movie also, I was in charge of the costumes/make-ups/special effects. *gulp* I was so terrified during the making of the movie, I couldn't sleep and was making horrible nightmares. Since then, I can't stand to listen to horror movies.

I meant I was making nightmares the nights I succeeded to sleep.

The 4th one is the one with the twins; Hellraiser Bloodline (commonly refered to as Pinhead in Space}, and it falls into the "bad pair" category.

The 5th is about a crooked cop that finds the box at a crime scene.. The 6th is about Kirstey's husband, she dies and he starts having all these nightmares and halucinations about cenobites, and the cops think he killed her..

wow i think i'll just stick to originals

they sent pinhead to space?!
i thought jason going to space and getting robotisized was bad enough but fuck...

is earth so boring you need to shoot up horror movie badasses into space?
the people in hollywood writting some of these cinematic abortions should be dragged into the street and shot or at least hacked up with a machete or something equally fitting
I'm feeling a little bored right now..

There are 2 ways (well, 3 now that I think about it) to tell if a horror series has gone to shit; They go to space, they go to "the hood", or they go on the internet.

The worst dream I had was about government clowns.

The government had appointed clowns as NSA operatives and for some reason, I was the only one to see that the clowns killed people; everybody else saw them as, well, clowns.

One of the was chasing me for a while and I jumped through a window, Matrix-style. Imagine a hot summer evening and kids from the 50s are staring at me and I realize I'm also wearing a clown suit and am holding a gun. I am leaning against a wooden door, hiding from the pursuing clown.

All is silent. I can feel myself sweating, waiting. And I see on the floor the shadow of the clown, looking inside, searching for me and all I can think is "I hope the kids won't laugh... I hope the kids won't laugh". I wope up in sweat, shaking.

I have no idea what THAT was about. I was pretty sick, back then. Fever-induced nightmare, maybe?
I'm feeling lovecraftian right now..
