Moi et Matricks, on s'est promené dans la crowd pour donner les toutous aux meilleurs look au debut du set à EFM-7.

Subterranean, c'était il y a un an et demi me semble, et il y avait pas plus que 60 personnes. À ma connaissance, c'est la dernière fois que S4 est venu à Montréal.

Serieux, ce party là va être mongol, sa fait longtemps que j'ai pas eu hate d'aller raver de même, lol.

That party was soooo awesome. I don't know where to start.

First, thanks to my partners, Louis and Julien. (Don Louis and Samwise) I could never have pulled it of without you guys! Thanks to Hugo, Mark, Pat, Carrot, Pink Popo and her deco crew, Jean and all the staff from Level Afterhour, Jessica and the GRIP, all the djs, Lone Star for driving us around after the party, Metzen's dad for driving us around before the party and finally, everyone who came to dance & support. You guys are keeping it alive!

Now, dj reviews. I was running around most of the night, but I managed to hear a bit of most sets.

Samwise: I was working the door, but it sounded very good from what I could make up, and everyone gave me good reviews. I think Julien's in for a successful dj career.

Deadfunk: Again, I was too busy to listen, but I was told that set was top notch. I always like having him play.

Metzen vs Don Louis: The first time I actually could step in the main room, they were playing. I really enjoyed the breakbeat hardcore, and had to MC a little bit during their set. The cheese part after made everyone smile.

Tyrant vs Tamerax: I'll always remember, back at Terra 3, when they asked me if I could book them together one day. I'm really glad I did. These guys are awesome together, and adding Gobs as a MC was just awesome. This is definitely something that will have to be done again.

EFM-7: Just wow, I knew Eugene's new stuff was good, but his live act was off the hook!

Galaksy vs Nitrous: We wanted to try something different this time and have a drum & bass set during the party. I personnally loved it. These guys love what they do, and it shows.

Dain-ja: The cheese set of the night, I heard so many anthems. I remember when Pascal said "Raves'r'us is like Montreal's Hulla." His set really made if feel this way. The good side of Hulla, I mean. :p

Lone Star: Another set I really liked. I think it's the only time during the night I actually could dance a little bit.

Matricks: I've rarely seen a dj play such an energetic set in the morning, and ravers were loving it! I was actually wondering if people would agree to leave after his set. That last track, when I was dancing with the rest of the Project Mayhem crew on the stage, was a moment I'll remember for a long time.


I'll definitely remember this party for a long time. Definitely the best event I ever threw, and I'm already looking forward to Raves'r'us 3. Of course, you can expect more from Project Mayhem before that. One thing I'll say; you guys want candy, you will get candy!

On that piece of fabric we but on the wall at Raves'r'us 2, someone wrote "The new since dieing on the blok". I gotta say I like this one a lot. :p

Wow, I'm just speechless. The place was packed! I'll write a real review after a good 14 hours of sleep.

haha, c'est juste drole de mentionner que j'ai été worker avec plein de gogosses de rave à l'halloween. Mon Boss était crampé.

Pas si pire, j'me suis déguisé en raver pour l'halloween a la job, pis je les ai lavé après. :p

Dagwoods is great. I think I tried Nilufar once too. Now that I think about it, the worse food I ever had was that cheap place in front of the opera house in Toronto. One of my friends needed to use the bathroom while we were waiting for Hulla, and the guy wouldn't let her use it unless we bought something, so I had some french fries. They were so gross I couldn't finish them, and everyone else was too scared to eat the rest. I just threw them out.

It's a bit of a long walk from Cartier metro. If you take a cab, it will probably end up at 8$.

Directions to get to the venue:

Get out at Cartier metro, and then take one of those buses: 17, 27, 31, 39, 41, 43, 74
ask the driver to get off BEFORE the highway 440 overpass.

If you come by car, go all the way up Des Laurentides until you reach the 440. The venue is at the corner of Des Laurentides and the highway.

Very important, DO NOT TRUST GOOGLE MAPS! Google maps gives the wrong directions, and you will end up in an empty parking lot if you follow them.

Just a reminder that the address is 1540 Boulevard des Laurentides, laval. The addresses don't follow each others in Laval, so don't worry if you find out you're at 2000 des Laurentides or something, just keep going until you reach the highway overpass.
