I also think that host.wun makes this forum worse for almost everyone on here. He is racist, and homophobic, and kinda ruins the vibe with his cave man like aggressive nature. He also adds very little in the way of substance, lulz, lols, or anything else of value. In fact, ask yourself, has host.wun ever been unnecessarily aggressive towards you, or someone on this board you thought was chill? I'm pretty sure we know the answer.

I actually agree witch screwhead, that players getting hurt is just part of the game in the rules as currently played. Its a game with high intensity, where collisions can be dangerous. If you remove that you get the allstar game which is boring as fuck. But what pisses me off about the way the NHL reacted to this is that its an AT THE MARGIN decision. Rather than make the game safer for the players by cracking down on ALL headshots (safety) to reduce a little bit of intensity (players will have to let up in some situations), they've essentialy said making the game more intense is more important than safety.

From the same perspective, what bugs me about this is that

1)the NHL basicly said, Chara bears no responsibility even though it was interference. Honestly, what was Mac Pac supposed to do? Not skate hard? Should he even have to protect himself against a play like that? Obviously not. I'm not a canadiens fan. But I think Chara should have got suspended for the season because he committed an infraction, and in doing so put another player in the hospital.

2) the NHL doesnt view this as a head shot even though chara clearly guided his head into the turnbuckle. What did he think was going to happen? That the bench woudl continue forever? He knew he was at the bench. Thus he knew where the turnbuckle was.

Wake up NHL. Wake up.

Can someone list some really solid downtempo producers and DJs (or even better, point me to some really good mixes and live sets? downtempo/minimal/etc cross genre mixes would be find too.

ruined: fucked up at work today. I got 3 calls from 3 letters I sent out, all about how stupid the email was, and how theyre not going to respond to many of the requests. Then, when I was scheduling meetings, I had to change the meeting dates 6 times. I actually looked like a fucking idiot. I felt so stupid and useless as I left to go home.

ruined: Ive officially been cut from her life. I'm still confused as to what I did wrong, if anything. I still miss her, and the feeling just gets worse. I still dont even know what happened. How can someone who liked you one day hate you so much the next or think so little of you as to not even tell you in person, or over the the phone or send you a text or email or facebook post to you to fuck off or that its over?

I dunno. At shamblz the kids are fun to have around in the day time. I find most of the kids at festivals are really open and well adjusted. THeyre happy, playful, confident, and full of smilez and energy. And parents don't usually bring them around at night. I've only ever seen one kid raving at a stage (he was 8 years old, and was dressed up in a haloween costume. NO joke, it freaked me the fuck out. I couldnt imagine how stupid his mom must have been, but he seemed to be having fun). So generally, most of the kids at the festival are well looked after IMO.

As long as your willing to look after them at night time. IE babysit them and not go to the stages at night while you leave your kid alone in his tent, I think thats fine. Although, perhaps if your far enough from the stages, your kid can get a good nights sleep. But still, how could you feel safe knowing that if your kid gets up in the middle of the night and wonders around, he's gonna be around all these people that are high as fuck???

So yeah, I might take my kid to a festival, but only if there was other kids for him to play with and lots of child friendly and child specific activities during the day. Like if I was in a hippie commune or something. But otherwise, probably not. And not because I dont think the kid wouldnt have fun, but b/c I wouldnt want to babysit.

And no, there is no way, I would let trust anyone else other than me to look after my kid at a festival. Just because if something happened to my kid, I would feel guilty for the rest of my life. Its my kid, and thus, my responsibility. So IMO the Original post is fucking rediculous.

My boss is a really smart guy, but he's cant see his own flaws. And he's way too self important.

He thinks urgent things are important just because they're urgent. And most of the time they're not.

He thinks he can improve processes outside his division and even in other companies by asking the right questions. Which he obviously can't.

He always has the need to ask questions and push deeper, even when the solution is obvious. He'll product 10 pages of analysis to come to a trvial and obvious decision.

He thinks everyone else cares about the division he manages. When in actuality, no one cares. Basicly he's very self important

He thinks people who don't work for him work for him. Which they don't

He thinks everyone shoudl work 50 hours a week when theyre only under contract for 38.
