 Coolness: 201350 | I think a distinction needs to be made between whether we are talking about people who go to school and also use drugs in their leisure time or people who are literally on drugs while in school (and by that I mean illicit drugs and not the ritalin they give to kids these days)... |

But hey, i might just be an exceptional case tiiheehee. Ive seen a lot of people who use drugs do shittily in skewl, but it wasnt as a result of their drug use. They did drugs to begin with becuase they werent the brightest bulb in the bulb case (caro heheh). And therefore did not succede in skewl because they were originaly not that smart. If you have a good head on ur shoulders, you can succede academically under the influence the same u wud sober. |

if you had a lack of motivation for school and the drugs made it worse...well than obviously you really arent going to do that much better. and i think the type of drug also makes a difference, for instance with mdma... it affects mostly ur brain..and after a weekend of popping 1 or 2 caps..you do feel a difference when your trying to concentrate in school |

:b i did drugs in school in the past and was able to keep up fine... although when i go back in september i'm already aware that i wouldn't be able to smoke pot and sniff anythign during my classes for my movivation would go down, and i know i would become more lazy. so to each their own... i once was able to keep the balance between drugs and school now its one or the otehr pour moi. and yea i pick school. |

 Coolness: 91815 | Well, i've never actually gone to class on drugs. But then again, I skip half my classes, so I only go 6 hours a week. Then again, I don't do drugs as frequently as some of you. so HA!
but if i smoke pot, i KNOW that I won't really be able to do homework for the rest of the evening, so I generally refrain if i have work to do. and last semester I had to study for an exam the day after taking an mdma. NOT fun |
