| the worst drug I ever tried. I went to the doctors complaining about chest pains and I had been feeling generally bad lately (parents split up recently and alot of stress from school). It turned out I was extremely stressed out (so much I was feeling ill all week and couldn't even go to school on friday) and the doctor said she could prescribe some pills for it. I was given a trial prescription of effexor, which is an anti-depressant anti-anxiety pill.
On friday I began taking it and the pain I had in my chest went away, which was good, but unfortunately the side effects were not. I had no appetite whatsoever for the 2 days I took that shit and felt generally sick all day. I was completely zombiefied and couldn't feel any emotion. I had this bizarre frustration about not being able to feel any emotions. I went from hyperactive at first to practically falling asleep at 11pm (way too early for me). Today on sunday I decided not to take it and I felt quite a bit better although I still had a few of the symptoms from last couple of days, but was finally able to eat again and felt more like myself.
Honestly, worse drug I ever tried, worse than pcp even. I'm deffinately going to try dealing with myself without pills. |

| those are the kind of drugs you have to be carefull not to abuse. don't take other substances while on prescribed medication, but im sure you know about that already. i think you made a wise decision to tough it out. you seemed to be happy today so your methods seem to be working

You can't just decide if a medication is good or bad... like this...
Effexor takes about 2 weeks to settle in and start having any positive effects...
and it takes a while to get out of your system when you stop taking them...
Weed is ok...
Stop at least 48h before doing anything else...
E won't "harm" you.. but you won't have much of a buzz...
Sex... yeah it does kill the libido a little too much...
Oh anyway... Effexor is not only used for anxiety.. but for depression and manic panic syndrome... |

| well I couldn't handle 2 weeks of bad side effects. I would also end up being 90lbs by the time the stuff started working because I had absolutely no fucking appetite when I was taking it. The only good thing was I slept well |
