however, the floor is gone now and the windows can be opened as of the next event there.... wonder what it will be! |

But seriously, not as dirty as 3810, and it was on Clark/Jean-talon. It wasn't that bad at all, imo, but there was some sketchy nights 'cause of the police shakin' it down, and the no-indoor-smoking law came into effect that year ... suffice to say, shit got fucked xD ... In the end, it got busted enough times for it to be burned as a venue. Might as well bring back 1919 :p haha |

 Coolness: 166610 | yes that's because on the ontario place we could not open the windows because of noise complaints from the neighbors. and the smoke, how terrible it was burning my eyes......
my first rave was at the bingo place on st-jacques... it was a nice venue, but had no time for setup before the event. and i heard of raves at places like the go-kart, but there was also problems because of cigarettes and gasoline on the floor risks... i loved fractal because the owners were really chill and we could come do the setup 3 days in advance. it was fun, we were not as experienced as now, but still able to build pretty impressive setups because of time... :) also there were parties at 3800 st-patrick... in the crane building, with the super insanely high ceilings... |

Church basement, we had to cut the music and open all the doors at some point, cool the place down. Ceiling was dripping all night.  Coolness: 2604020 | I don't know why people like the Solotech system so much. They use outdoor speakers. It's good for outdoor events but not places with lots of concrete the size of 3810. The sound I have costs less then half the price, comes with lights, cdj's, mixer and lasers and sounds way better and I never have it set-up so you can't hear people who are screaming at you standing 2cm from you.
But other then that the Deco was crazy, the DJs were fairly good and I love two room parties. It brings all kinds of people out who normally don't go out and people did represent! |
