 Coolness: 113405 | My friends and I love chilling near where they fight, it's awesome to watch. And some of the costumes these guys wear, shit, you can tell they love it and put A LOT of effort into it. I've only ever seen him once but there was this GIANT guy dressed as a viking. He was wearing these massive platform boots, had huge black hair and kick ass wig, and was wielding one scary looking battle axe. It was awesome. |

| Coolness: 113405 | No idea. I think most of the weapons are foam since the ultimate goal is to "battle" not beat the shit out of somebody. However, the end up looking pretty cool as a final product. But foam or not, you see a 7 foot viking swinging an axe at you, it's pretty impressive lol |

My first boyfriend was into it badly... he brought me once into a Grandeur Nature shit where you play that medieval stuff for 3 days in a row in the forest (they even build stuff, like a bar etc) i left after 30 minutes, fuck it was hilarious dork : "you can't see me im invisible" me : "ugh?.." /me *leave* he thought i would like the experience because i was into Theatre when in high school let me tell you one thing, it's completely different hahah So since my boyfriend and all his friend was into this, i knew a guy who was doing all his money by making those fake sword/weapons with Latex, instead of the usual cheap foam his things was kind of impressive, because they were piece of art. The time and skill that it takes he had them! but yeah, i find it lame, but other people like it. Whatever, you do anything you want to do with your life, it's just not for me. |
