et sinon hmm j'ai vraiment pas aime quand la gang de kandi a demenage a cote de chez nous au loft sur william... y'avait du 145 - 180 bpm qui jouait 24h/24 du jeudi au lundi, avec des murs comme du carton... :( :( on leur disait de SVP enlever la bass parce qu'on voulait relaxer, mais eux ils essayaient de runner un genre de place candy pour payer le loyer ou de quoi du genre... alors ils le remontaient aussitot... et de l'autre cote y'avait raw avec ses chiens qu'on dirait qu'il les torturait ou de quoi, on entendait des cages bouger et les chiens crier, on dirait qu'ils souffraient... et des fois il mettait la meme track de rap sur repeat super fort pendant des heures, et la track etait pas tres bonne... on la savait par coeur en tout cas :( a part de ca ca va :P |

 Coolness: 43635 | In Calgary, I lived in a building full of crackheads, alcoholics, homies, cockroaches and mice. One afternoon while I was preparing my black light artwork for that night's rave, the legless wheelchair alcoholic who kept peeing everywhere was knocking on my door to get my help with his roommates/caregivers, who were crackheads with guns. Evidently they'd locked him out of his own home, not letting him back in to the stinking mess. So I come to the door in my housecoat and single rainbow toesock, blacklights going and everything. I was really busy and not into dealing with crackheads and people peeing themselves everywhere who always asked for my help but never accepted it until the paramedics had to come. So finally I went across the hall to deal with the crackheads and they apologized and I got to finish my claywork for that evening. Then sometimes the homies who kept chatting me up every time we'd meet in the hallway would start getting all violent and I'd just come in and out through my porch instead of the front door. I tried to tell the landlords about the out of control population of mice and roaches and they told me that if I didn't like it, leave. But there was nowhere else to go at that time in Calgary. So I moved to Montreal where we actually have protection, we're so lucky here!
Other than that, I guess the meth building when I was 17 was pretty bad. Mostly the abusive landlord who came into my apartment while I was showering and other unhappiness. And last year when this n00b moved into my old apartment building and would freak out when I was playing guitar at 8 in the evening. Scuse me but don't move into a place if you don't like the way it is there. It's not like it's hard to find rent in Montreal. And the guy downstairs from me would smoke in the hallway and there was no other way past him to get out, and he would smoke out of his window so it would get sucked in through mine. !! Die already, f*&%&! But now I'm in an awesome spot where I can make music whenever I like, but it's pretty quiet because I'm somewhat isolated from all the neigbors, and I only really hear them when they're jumping around on my head on Friday and Saturday nights. The rest of the time is safe for recording. I don't have roommates, and I have an alarm system. Life is good! |

 Coolness: 100525 | at my first boyfriend's house in hochelaga, we used to be in a crakhead building at the bottom floor where the washer/drying was... every god damn night stupid crackhead came and smoke theire stuff on those machines...sometime moving them to check if they left a rock somewhere near... i had to go out and yell at them cause they were waking us up all the freaking time...they also used to come knocking at our door selling electric stuff (radio,cellphones,tvs) .. for like 20$ ... stupid crackheads... |

Your place is way awesome, still need to come check out the new layout :) At my ex's old place near atwater (crackhead central), the neighbor upstairs would always be inviting sketchy dealers to his place through the back entrance at all times during the night, so they would pass by our balcony making tons of noise. He would bang on the floor constantly, drop things, yell, and just be a royal pain in the ass in general. The only time he was ever quiet was when J.S (Sickness) moved into the apartment next door =P |
