non mais wow, la musique était vraiment bonne!! :) cosmic orgasm as usual super bon, mais surtout ce qui m'a fait tripper c'est le set de Psychotik... je m'attendais à quelque chose de genreeee full dark et 150 bpm et en fait c'était dark à souhait, mais le beat était super groovy et dansable. et il a fait une montée lente......... en tout cas je m'attendais vraiment pas à quelque chose d'aussi bon... même si le dancefloor s'est un peu vidé, je crois que les gens étaient pas prêts à apprécier de la musique comme ça? enn tout cas j'ai vraiment super beaucoup aimé! en tout cas........ et Anima juste apres, aaaah tellement la, ça prenait de la musique comme ça dans un party depuis longtemps, ça me rappelle les outdoors, avec le monde full dedans le matin, et les rayons de soleil qu'on voit par les rideaux. j'aime ça quand y'a de la bonne musique le matin, merci @ les people qui ont réalisé ça, et @ ceux qui ont partagé le moment :) |

| Coolness: 66645 | baby shakin = good :P haha, @ yoshin the music at the end wasn't bad it was kinda relaxing, but yeah the basslines went downhill after 3 a.m at one point there was a really bad double beat when someone was trying to switch tracks it lasted a long time. and iunno the music just got way too quiet i guess the energy just wasn't there its hard to explain. and i don't know why the stereo was set up to the left of the booth lol. like i said i'm not trying to put down the rave it was still fun, but basically after hexa and psydraulix i found the psytrance really hard to get into, barely any bass drops there wasn't a really good fullon feel one of the dj's playing almost put us to sleep =/, i rarely raaarely have anything bad to say about anyone who mixes psytrance, but honestly if i was mixing psytrance and the whole floor was jsut standing around talking i would wonder if i'm playing the right shit ;) |

| Coolness: 166520 | he was playing the right thing...the crowd was just maybe too young and unexperimented to like this music... also i know i would not have liked it when i was newer to psy.
honestly i'm kindof bored with the music that hexa-5 and psydraulix are playing, i've heard too much of the same thing and it sounds too 'generic'. also i don't find the use to all the... lol nevermind i don't know what it's called when the music does this :P but i like something with more depth, and the other djs served that really well. |

| Coolness: 66645 | i guess it comes down to personal opinion of psytrance :P iunno, i like a bassline to be fat, like thick and dirty the kind that when a bass drop goes down everyone looks at eachother n are just like " ahhhhhh!! " lmao i mean perfect example was probably vinces psy bday party, the music was ridiculous you just couldnt stop dancing, true story :P. but like i said it prob comes down to personal taste, i find the style that was played was very mellow, not my style i guess ;) |

| Coolness: 66645 | it only gets boring if the dj can't throw it down hard enough, imo fullon can get boring if you don't play accordingly, if a dj throws down something dirty before you, well.. you have to THROW IT DOWN HARDER!!!! and so on and so forth, bring your best play your best leave the raving to the rest ;)
i have seen some bad fullon sets, and that will make it boring, you need to bring the intensity and energy, its what controls the party! |

if a dj throws down something dirty before you, well.. you have to THROW IT DOWN HARDER!!!! not really. a well constructed line-up for a psy party has the harder beats between 2 and 4 AM. after 4 am the BPM should start to go slightly, almost unperceptibly lower, while the music should remain dark and cerebral. and when the sun rise, the touches of melody should come back. also unperceptibly, just like the light comes in umperceptibly. touches of it... hints... and then it depends on the weather actually. melodic full-on matches well with sunshine. darker music goes well on a rainy or cloudy day. dark progressive psychedelic music and fog is sooo awesome. full-on all the time is like mindless fucking on the same beat all the time. it lacks variety and it gets boring. a psytrance party should be a trip, like travelling through layers of music, through layers of yourself. it should take you there slowly, and also bring you back slowly. people who take speed are kind of destroying the natural vibe of psytrance, by wanting everything to be harder. but really not everyone is on drugs... psytrance is not about making everything harder. it's about taking a trip... travelling... and opening your mind. |
