Yep.
And we call cats nature's assholes because all they do is nap and be jerks all day. But ever wondered what those insects and whatever other animals who's habitat we're stepping on are thinking of us, bringing our basslines, getting high and wasted on booze and drugs, dancing like we don't give a shit... I doubt they're all like: Hey, look, they're having a good time, how lovely. Those guys sure know how to party! .... fucking pricks, don't you have nuts to gather and store for winter or something?
I'm feeling a perfect storm right now.. |

I guess anthropomorphism can be fun when used for entertainment purposes, but for me, the interesting thing was to see a ritual that was properly described by Bernard Werber in his book "Les Fourmis". Besides, Sex between any creatures is a wonder to behold. ;)
I'm feeling woop dat ass right now.. |

i dunno, maybe the mating dances & rituals can be a wonder to behold, but the sex itself is just a little of the ol' in out in out .. pretty boring to see if you're not actually part of it :p
only humans would turn procreation into entertainment ... give them bugs their fucking privacy! XD (please don't misinterpret - i don't have a problem with sexuality or the intrinsic beauty of sharing bodies, nor do i think ppl should be fucking insects)

O_O
Occasionally when encountered by a larger predator, such as a human, they have been known to "play dead" and emit a fluid from their anus.[1] Due to this they are assumed dead by humans only to later "come alive" with painful results. KILL IT WITH FUCKING FIRE!!!
