 Coolness: 48725 | I think people in Montreal don't realise how lucky they are. I spend my life about 50/50 between Nova Scotia and Montreal.
In NS, there's basically nothing going on. There was a big 'illegal' rave a few months ago, and it got busted by the police. They arrested the organisers and took their equipment as evidence. I remember that busted rave at the Wellington tunnel, the police told organisers to pack their stuff and leave. So I try to rave as much as I can for the 6 months I am in Montreal, and for the rest of the year... I work my ass off. It's a good deal I guess. And I barely never do anything else than drinking or smoking. I remember the Neurotik Free parties ( il n'y en pratiquement plus on dirait !!??) , man that was awesome. Pure Hardcore music until 11 AM. I was hangover for like 4 days after. ehehe I also think the location where the rave takes place is very important. It's a big aspect of the setting and the atmosphere. I remember going to the Crane building for almost 4 weekends in a row, I was really tired of that place for months after. If raves always happen in the same venues, people get a bit tired, whoever the headliner is. Most of my friends agree with me on that. - My 2 cents |
