Honestly, Id keep it up, but people like Mickos, Host_one and Verizon seem to get really angry/annoyed. So I figured Id throw in back in the box for a while. I do believe in PLUR as an ideal I try to live with. And I'll break it out at raves too when someone is really pissed off just for the lulz that often ensue. But thats as far as it goes. I dunno if Dee ever picked up on it. |

Being plur, imo, is about proactively trying to live with 4 sets of ideals rather than just being passively considerate, b/c you stop and think before you do something unplur, and you'll go out of your way to do nice things for others. The idea of plur is more about being aware and active, because most ppl are only passively considerate. They'll do something considerate only if its fairly obvious, easy, and they don't have to give up much or go out of their way to do it. And yes, there are plenty of plur ppl in the non rave world, and plenty of unplur ppl in the rave world. That's irrelevent. I'm not one to say what ppl should believe or how they should act, but I know the world would be a much better place if everyone was more proactive in looking out for the well being of others and society. So ill live that way and if you don't want to, I couldn't care less. And nuclear, its a lot higher than 10%. The canadian govt requires a min of 60% to call yourself a charity I think. And I think the red cross is closer to 80%+. |
