 Coolness: 121770 | It's been a couples of days im thinking to write in this thread, each times...I just turning around in my office, thinking and looking on the screen.
But, here it is! Im not gonna enter the endless debate of legal/illegal issues now, im not a lawyer or an expert in that matter. Period. Or argumenting and giving my assumptions I may have on the laws or the movie. That won't be the correct thing to do....They are assumptions not facts. (Some people here should read THIS paragraph many times) But I can tell you this... Im stunned how ravers became divided, inrespectfull, maleficent, insolate and immature here. It's simply not the people I met 8 years ago. These behaviors are not the "basement" of our culture. Just step back and look! I understood Noah when he said "What the fuck is wrong with you people", I exactly feel like that right now. It's really afflicting to watch...so afflicting that I became speechless behind my keyboard. Irony that is a soldier that tell you how wrong your little war is?? But you dont need to be a strategist to know how this will end...believe me. I want to debate this a little more but its getting late and im working tomorrow. Anyway, I need more brainstorming, maybe others posts will help. :-/ But seriously guys, think about it. |

The culture of people that get high? Perhaps the culture of people who wear retarded outfits? Any values you think you have because of this "culture" you speak of were fabricated and self serving, because that culture hasn't existed in longer than 8 years, for starters...  Coolness: 153140 | M-A-X, one thing you have to know, is that, for some of us, the "movie" isnt a real representation of what the rave scene is really about.
so, for me, being in this movie, or having any of my track playing in this movie, i would consider it a disrespect, because of 2 main things. nobody asked me to use my name/image/music. what we see in the trailers are complete idiocy about underage people taking drugs and telling everyone that they are god. (noah, i know you will get on your high horses again telling that the trailers arent what the movie is about,that it was just practice, but that just doesnt make any sense, if its only practice, you dont show them publicly.) in my 10 years of raving, i never hung with people like that, i dont personally know people that behaves like that, and i sure dont wanna meet em now that everyone saw who they are. respect goes both ways. I find this movie disrespectful to the entire rave scene. but that is MY opinion, as i am not god or controlling the rave scene, all I (we, people that think like or somewhat like me) can do is voice myself, and make sure when the movie comes out, that i do no feature in the movie, good or bad my featuring can be. respect isnt letting anyone do anything they like. Respect is respecting what they do and making sure what they do respects you back. |
