But like, in comparison, the only people that aren't white that he kills are those latinos, since Mutante had said that he was pissed off at immigrants.. He roughs up the korean dep owner a bit, but everyone else is as white as it gets, and he gets extremely pissed off and offended when someone suggest he might be racialy motivated.. In a way, I see the movie as being sort of on the same idea as Fight Club; you're taught as a kid that life is supposed to be a certain way, that you're supposed to live happily ever after with your highschool sweetheart and have 2.5 kids, that you're going to get the perfect job that you love.. But it's all just bullshit; it's like telling people to be good so that when you die, you get into heaven.. "Go to school and you'll get your dream job in the career you love" "Find a girl you love and start a family, nothing will ever go wrong" "Everyone is nice and friendly and your neighbors couldn't possibly be bad people" The movie is about a guy who finally snaps because he's NOT living the perfect life, the world ISN'T all roses, rainbows and PLUR, and he's so deluded into thinking that we should be living in a perfect, ideal world where every neighbor is Mr. Rogers and every family is Leav it to Beaver, that he's trying to "fix" it by removing the people that aren't nice and perfect. |

hes pissed off about every living people he sees BUT strangely he never see some real potential responsible people for what hes mad about. dont try to make me believe that its the depanneur owners fault that his stupid coca is more than a dollar ( its been 461237841 years a saw that "movie"). as if the gas station is to blame lately.... ya des enjeux politiques internationaux beaucoup plus influents que la décision du gérant de la petite station d'essence. dont forget its a script wrote by people who are being well paid, the caracter is not real and the situations are NEVER as arbitrary as we could think in the first place in a movie. the only thing i said was that its always the wrong targets in blockbusters. if you watch John Sayle movies for instance there is a shitloads of "nuances" (chu poche en anglais) compare to hollywood bullshit about social tension in the U.S. but who cares anyway... and yeah i also have the same kind of opinion about fight club ( pandorah's box + who cares anyway parrt 2 ;)) while we are at it watch Wag the dog ... perfect exemple of while you think they are showing important political informations to you they are hiding the most important and keep it quiet. pure genius!
